AHHH! Horimiya is going to break my heart, I can feel it. Also, just blew through Taiyou no Ie which is also breaking my heart, so all in all it's been a good week!!

I've been checking out Ao Haru Ride, that mangaka one, Free!, and Sailor Moon!! And I have Terror of Resonance downloaded but I haven't got to it yet. Also, pretty excited for an excuse to re-watch Psycho-Pass. Work has slowed down so I've been filling my time with anime and manga. Any additional suggestions? Oh, I guess titans is going to start again in a couple of weeks!

Monogatari gets more and more confusing the longer I watch it. I'm trying to remember all the characters' back-stories and motives, and it's confusing. I really liked the arc when Araragi and the vampire went into the future and messed around with timelines. That was fun. The last arc was meh.

Whoa sorry for never replying! I would love to have you come for a visit, but this summer is insane and it might be best to wait and see if I end up somewhere else in the fall. London is an especially boring city so hopefully I end up somewhere cooler.

Finally finished Monogatari! I feel like such a slacker lately with my anime watching. I blame Netflix. I've been distracted by House and various BBC series (can we say, Richard Armitage? Yes please!)

Yeh, well I've really liked his voice for a long time now, and hearing how funny he is in Nisekoi really pushed him up the ranks. I think a lot of it is the fact that Mamo isn't doing much these days, and when he does I haven't enjoyed it much, like Nobufool, Gatchaman etc. But Uchiyama Kouki I really like consistently, and his voice is just awesome, I can't say there's any role he's donewhere I've been disappointed. I might even give I.S. a go just because he's in it.

Well I wasn't championing Nanana that much, I just thought it didn't turn out to be worthy of being cut. I enjoyed the animation and the characters, and it's a little bit different to most shows, though it does remind me of Phi-Brain a lot with the over the top obstacle hidden inside buildings.

What are your tops of the season?

I think Uchiyama Kouki has over taken Mamo for my no.1 fave seiyuu.

You're serious about moving back to the west coast?! I thought you were being sarcastic because of the epic winter we all just survived. Crazy. Well, I hope that everything works out for you guys.

We just had a work meeting last week to discuss our projects for the summer. Our client is really ramping up on construction and will basically be building wind turbines over our heads as we excavate which means we have a whole new set of health and safety rules to abide by. Yay hard hats! And t-shirts! I thought my sock tan was terrible last summer but I'm going to rock the greatest farmer's tan this summer! :S

Ok you have to explain to me the big deal with Gundam Build! Am I missing something? After 3 attempts at watching it I've got up to episode 6 and the appeal is still lost on me, and I couldn't believe it when I saw everyone has given it 8 and 9 scores.

Re Knights of Sidonia, I'm actually looking forward to the cg in this one. I was pleasantly surprised with Aoki Hagane no Arpeggio last season because of the cg. All the extra subtle character movements and fluidity was very nice to watch, compared to just still images with mouth flaps.

I started the Noragami manga too :) I started from the beginning incase they'd cut things from the series, and most of the first chapter had been cut lol.Though to be fair the side character in that bit was dull so it probably made the series better to skip it.

Oh also I've literally just found out that Ono Kensho was the one that sang the second ED them for Kuroko, and I'm now a fan just for his singing voice! I always thought it was a band singing, I would never have guessed that was him, he sounds so different.

Spring has finally sprung in London! Thank goodness! There are still giant patches of snow but hopefully they melt soon.

The trip started in Istanbul, then travelled down the west coast to Ephesus and Pamukkale, then down to the south to a small town on the Mediterranean, and then through central Turkey to Konya and Cappadocia and back to Istanbul. There was a lot of time spent on buses but it was cool to see all different parts of the country.

As for job future, I'm not really sure. I really want to push to get back with Parks Canada. I really want to get back to working with the public, so either doing museum stuff or managing a historic site. Ultimately, doing community archaeology (projects that involve the public in some capacity) would be amazing but there's not a whole lot of that in Canada. We'll see. I wouldn't mind moving to western Canada, maybe to Calgary. Or the East coast would be really cool as well.

Hmm, no good book recommendations I'm afraid. I picked up a book in Turkey called Snow, by Orhan Pamuk which explains some of the political situation in Turkey. Then I'm moving onto Joseph Boyden's latest novel. He's a Canadian First Nations author and I've really enjoyed his previous novels so I'm excited to get to this one. Anything on the sci-fi front that I should be paying attention to?

It seems like there are so many cool new seasons coming up! Mushishi, Psycho Pass, and apparently Durarara? Did I read that correctly?? Very exciting!! I love Horimiya! It's SO adorable!! I hope it gets picked up for a show. I know they made some OVAs but a show would be the best!

I'm not really excited for Spring to be honest. I'm really looking forward to Haikyuu, but I've been through the list of other things that are coming up a few times and nothing is really standing out or sticking in my mind afterwards, except maybe Knights of Sidonia.

Captain Earth looks pretty interesting, but then the promo pic keeps reminding me of Heroman, and all my expectation go out the window. One week Friends looks like it'll be a nice series.

If anything I'm more looking forward to the Summer season!

What about you? And what did you think of the almost wrapped up Winter season? I miss Noragami!!
