Houseki no Kuni
add

Both are great shows having post apocalyptic world settings, where main protagonists discover the dark and forbidden secrets hidden beneath their societies. Shinsekai yori is a complete series but Houseki no Kuni is ongoing, is adapted upto chapter 35 of the manga, so it doesn't disclose much of the story, if you want to know further you can continue the manga after watching it, which is also amazing. The animation is fully made by CG, and is aesthetically pleasing for the eyes. On the other hand the animation of Shinsekai yori is quite outdated as regarding to its timeline.

Durarara!!

Both are from same author, same studio. Both focus on various characters from the underworld i.e criminals, violent gangs and misfits. Both are told by an all-seeing narrator, populated by a large cast, and initially seems very scattered in terms of its storyline but they all begin to make sense with more episodes progress. Baccano is all centered in the USA in the 1930's with some of the plots taking place in the past while Durarara mostly takes place in modern day Japan centered around Ikebukuro.

Nana

Both NANA & Beck are great musical dramas. Both the shows revolve around their main characters forming a band and showing their talents to the world. NANA is a shoujo anime on the other hand Beck is a shounen. Both have good music but the songs in NANA are much better. Both have romance and dramas, Beck is more centered around music than romance but NANA is more inclined towards the romance part along with music. In Beck average age of the characters are below eighteen and in NANA they are above eighteen, so it has more adult contains than Beck.
