Hey, I noticed you're reading Magi. How different is it from the anime adaption? The first season of the anime ends at around volume 13 so I'm going to assume that the next season will end at 26. That's going to be a few years before we get those released in English. I want to buy the manga but I don't wanna be reading the same stuff as I have just watched, and then be excited for another volume to be released only to read what I've seen in animated form.

Yea, I absolutely hate it when translators drop a project after picking it up. I know theres their circumstances or lost interest/motivation, but it gives a ray of hope then take it away.

I'd give it a try. I am not much of a fan of anime. I just like manga as a medium a lot more. I read kurosawa and seizon, which I enjoyed tremendouslly but Kaiji looks really long and daunting in comparison. I do tend to put off on long ass running manga.
Don't know why but I stopped reading Buraiden Gai halfway through. Gotta go back on that.

God damn Again translations are so damn behind and scans its been almost an year from reading chapter 79 and english scans still didn't catch up. Waiting for translations is terrible

Those `1 page threads have long been clogged with same manga over and over again though. I did pick up Shut Hell there, which for some reason.
I gotta look at Fukumoto's works too. I keep saying that but it stays unread in my computer.

Haha. I just grab whatever from 1 page threads and sometimes just go on mangaupdates and pick a bunch by genre. We seem to have fairly similar tastes too, judging by our shared manga and I'm sure I can pick few gems from your side as well.
