I’ve been watching anime since I was a kid, back when I had to rent VHS and DVDs from video stores just to find new shows. I still remember the excitement of stumbling across Toonami for the first time and realizing anime was on broadcast TV—especially when I caught a Gundam Wing marathon.

What keeps me hooked all these years later is anime’s ability to tell stories in ways live-action never could. Whether it’s through expressive animation, bold storytelling choices, or exploring difficult topics, anime has a unique way of making emotions feel raw and real.

Beyond watching, I also love collecting Blu-rays and physical manga of my favorites—there’s something special about owning the series that mean the most to me.
