Overall i really wanted to like this show more that I did. I feel that whoever wrote and directed this knew the major notes they had to hit to make this type of show work, but didn't know what to do in between those and fumbled a bit on the ending.

Story: 6
The broad strokes for the story were done right, but overall i have to say it was a bit of a mess. The basic layout is a more grounded slice of life story for the 1st half in order to put together the cast and ... catheterize them. This part is honestly done pretty well and the lead into the 2nd half is done well and grabbed my interest. The 2nd half is this larger worldwide greater evil conspiracy story with a decent little twist. This is sadly where the story falls apart. Many things are left rather unexplained and what is explained is felt very rushed. You are also given absolutely no motive for the villain of the series.

The characters in this series felt very flat and uninteresting to me. You get the feel of how they are after 1 or 2 episodes after they appear. While they are thrown in new situations and you get to see their reactions to those situations they never feel like they grow or change much. They react much how you would have expected them to and their reactions to situations after that are the same as they have always been.

Enjoyment 5
The setup of this show set my exceptions high. I love Sci-fi and i love mysteries and thrillers, but this show was just a letdown. The science in the sci-fi just doesn't hold water even at a basic level. With the motives of the villain being so ambiguous it leaves a big hole in the mystery part to. Not to mention the number of loose threads left at the end that i won't get into cause of spoilers.

I have to give the series a 6/10 Fair rating. Maybe I'm being hard on it cause I feel it could have easily been a 8/10 anime. Maybe i'm being easy on it cause it is a complete story with a proper ending the those are so rare anymore. In the end unless you are a hard core fan of shows like Steins;gate and want something with a similar feel even it is inferior i can't recommend this anime.

I have to say that this is the worst anime that I have seen in a while and I'm surprised I made it through the whole thing. The only redeeming quality of this series is the main character Adam Blade who is just entertaining to watch.

Story:
Cliche and predictable are how I would describe it. It tries to throw a few twists at you but I saw them coming far in advance. It tries very hard to be epic and over the top but lacks a well thought out story

Art:
Animation was pretty clean, but the fact that characters cloths would regenerate and wounds would be healed ... between episodes, or sometimes scenes just so it could be done again was just too much.

Characters:
I hated every single one of the except Blade! Every single one of them was retarded except the kid who had normal intelligence but was treated like genius.

Enjoyment:
will never watch this series again and would only recommend it to people that i don't like.
