Phew, sorry it's taken me so long to get back to you! Anyway...
Well I dunno, anime is anime is a form of entertainment. If you've watched a lot, it's not like it's a badge of honour to wear or anything. Besides, I've heard a lot of the guys on this site watch anime just to say they've watched a lot.
I blame spoilering on TVTropes. I mean, you take one look at a series' page before you're caught up, and it's all over.
And uhm, thanks, I guess? I sorta watched K-On before I realized it was so... Love it or hate it. All I saw were the nice, earthy tones, and before I knew it, I'd finished the series quickly as I'd finish a piece of apple pie. Though recently I've begun to think of it as a Guilty Pleasure... (Well, I'd like to but I think I just enjoy the moeblobbery too much for that.) The vocal part of K-On's fanbase does not help, y'know.
Berkman to the Yankees is a catastrophe. One of my favorite athletes to the most evil organization in sports. Do you know the "Blue Dart" story?
'At Rice University, where Berkman won the National Player of the Year award in 1997, they still love to tell the "Blue Dart" story. As legend has it, longtime Owls coach Wayne Graham thought it would be a good idea if all his players ran a three-mile loop around Houston's Memorial Park in less than 21 minutes. He told them they'd have to keep trying until they succeeded.
While his roommates spent the summer in training, Berkman ate pizza and played the role of resident sedentary guy. But he also hatched a survival plan: After making a token effort in the first three-mile run -- while his roommates passed the test -- Berkman would run far enough on his second attempt to disappear from view. Once he was shielded from the sight of the coaching staff, his buddies would swing by in a car, pick him up and drive him most of the way around the course.
When race day arrived, Berkman bounded out of his vehicle moments before the scheduled 7 a.m. start. He wore royal blue Rice shorts with matching T-shirt and headband, tennis shoes and no socks, and trash-talked about the whipping he was about to apply. He called himself the "Blue Dart."
Berkman busted out as if spring-loaded, with the expectation that he would croak in a hurry. Then he checked his watch and was astonished to see he'd covered the first mile in a blistering 5:40. He decided to keep pushing, and he continued to lead the pack.
"At about the two-mile marker, a gorilla jumped on my back and the party was over, but I was so close to finishing, I decided to go ahead and try to make this thing," Berkman said. He managed to hang on and wheeze home among the leaders in slightly less than 19 minutes.
Graham initially accused him of cheating. But after Berkman dropped to his hands and knees and vomited in the grass, the coach relented.
"The next day at practice, he was like, 'Did you see the heart that Lance showed?'" Berkman recalled. "He had no idea that I had planned on cheating."'
Well, being okay is always good, and being good is just fantastic. So that's good.
Well, as you may've noticed, I haven't watched many shows either. And my Plan to Watch list just keeps growing, like a big pile of Halloween candy or something. You know you'll miss it when it's gone, but while it's here you can't help but whine about how you're going to have to finish it all. Slice-of-life is always good. Nice and calming on a hectic day. Possible to marathon, but you don't really need to.
Geezers, I really need to get into FMA. Brotherhood ended and I heard it was really good and people have already spoilered a bunch of the series for me, so I figure I should just watch it before I know every single plot twist.
Well then thank you for the sorry? No need to say sorry? I dunno, as long as you aren't a troll in troper's clothing, I don't mind being bugged a bit.
'A Little Snow Fairy Sugar' is a criminally underrated show, one of my very favorites; can't get enough of that Greta. I don't understand why it gets neglected as it does while Shugo Chara, an inferior variation on the same premise, is massively popular.
A shame about the Astros. Berkmanster and Oswalt on the way out, to clear roster space for Ed Wade to collect some more ex-Phillies? End of an era. Well, enjoy Pedro Feliz.
Yeah, and they just had a very impressive win, 2-1 now, there is still a chance. Aaron Brooks won the Most Improved Player, Durant was second. Bogut had a bigger impact to his team, but Brooks improved his stats by a lot from last season. Btw Bucks GM won Executive of the Year, good for him. That Salmons trade was a steal.
yeah Salmons was a great pick up...and i can not believe how well the Bucks are playing since the allstar break...they are the hottest team in the league with Dallas right now and it's funny how everybody is still sleeping on the Bucks.... but the Bucks have been legit all season....Bogut will win Most Improved Player and i think Bucks will past first round...lol umm i wouldnt worry about the future...ur PG and C the two most important pieces are set u guys have a great coach...all there is left is to dump Redd's contract...and ull have enough cap to bring in another great player
lol yeah Bucks just made a nice trade...got Salmons hes pretty good...i hope the Bucks can make to the playoffs..yep its the Lakers to beat in West... and Cavs to beat in the East..mannn the allstar weekend was a little disappointing..what do u think?...oh r u following the Olympic too?
haha and Saints won!!!!
damm Colts played bad....and Manning that INT....dammmm
Rox can just wait till his contract to expire at the end of the year and use the cap money to sign some1 major...but Rox want to trade him before deadline and make a playoff push...which is stupid even they make the 8th seed Lakers will broom them in 1st RD..they should just start tanking and get a good draft....
Jennings played lights out a while back..but lately he hasn't been playing well..i think he will win Rookie of the year tho...yeah i would say right now it's that "rookie wall" most other rookies has been playing bad as well
man Allstar weekend next week...it's gona be sickkkk
damm it was a close game too...who you rooting for Superbowl?
i hope he gets traded..so Rockets can get better and make the playoffs.. another reason why Rockets may want to trade him would be... when Tmac's contract expires..he will definitely not sigh with the Rockets again...i guess Rockets want to trade him for something instead of letting him go for nothing :S
lol im just hoping for a Kobe Vs LBJ final...and yeah i think Jennings will get Rookie of the Year....
lol NFL 1 game decide every it's really crucial but i like it tho...hmm im guessing you are rooting for Viks the rest of the way? lol i was really into baseball a few years back but not anymore...i remember Astros was good back in the days too...T-Mac still not 100% not getting any minutes......hes contract is up soon so they may trade him...i think Lakers will win it this year lol
yep the team is heading into a right direction ...Bogut is getting better too...actually they might beat Orlando....Magic are playing terrible lately..the Magic from last year was a lot better...lol next year will be crazy...soooo many superstars are FAs after this season..so its hard to say right now lol
lol also umm Houston Astros?! lol that's random...you don't like the Brewers?

So HAH!
So how're you? What's your favourite genre? Why'd you say "sorry"?
