I think you're at the point where the plot has disappeared; you won't need to worry about it for at least another 5 or 6 episodes.

Agreed, but if the show doesn't grab my attention after the first few episodes, I'll stop watching it. I'd have ditched Honey and Clover pretty damn quickly if OAV hadn't dragged us slowly and painfully through it.
I thought Nodame was awesome; Nodame herself is such a great character, plus the music scenes made me think that classical music might not be complete rubbish after all. It also manages to stay away from any prolonged melodrama, unlike most anime, and stays interesting, unlike Honey and Clover which wasn’t particularly interesting to begin with.
Dennou Coil's good and imaginative, but it only tends to really shine in a couple of episodes. Whilst it handles the overlapping between cyberspace and real space pretty well, I think the likes of Ghost in the Shell or Serial Experiments Lain do it better. Also the plot mysteriously vanishes for a considerable chunk of the season.
I don't think I have anything else to add about Bebop. But just to fill up space, I'll say that it's awesomely fantastic with the fabulously fanservicey Faye. Do you think she’s related to Mai Valentine? And I finally got round to buying the DVD (along with Gurren Lagann and Code Gayass).



Argh, the MC in NHK really pissed me off. I found him to be unbelievably irritating, so I had to drop it after episode 7. I don't think I'll ever be able to finish it, unless the MC dies suddenly in ep 8.
Speaking of MCs dying suddenly, Madoka Magica. It probably has some of the best OMG scenes ever in anime. What did you mean by Madoka finds a balance between being too dull and immature?
Also, I hereby officially recommend Steins;Gate to you.
