Angels that fell from the sky and start to live with the MC. They show their way to each other and get to know each other... they bond together and learn about each other. Sora no Otoshimono is more cheeky than One Room but an absolute gem as well (the protag is a hell of a perv but has a good heart). One room have a cinnamon roll of a protag. I just love the angelical vibe of each anime (btw Sora no Otoshimono have a good and interesting lore).

IDK, but Renai Flops just yelled back in my mind when I started watching One Room. The animation is similar and the initial good vibes really resonated with me. Just know that you can be kinda emotionally devasted by the end of Renai Flops but I think the ride is Worthy either way. The girls are cute and the protags aren't duchbags. Feels right in my book.

Switch the place of an Apothecary and an wannabe Librarian and you get Honzuki as kusuriya equivalent. Honzuki has Isekai elements, magic powers and Western scenario but both of them have brilliant protagonist that literally change the world around them, conducting innovations even when their resources are limited, that being related to the current technology or hierarchy/social barriers. All of those themes are common in one and another. The protagonist are really passionate about their on areas of expertise and that make them really intriguing. Also, curiously, both of them have similar casts roles in the side characters roaster which made me baffled... I literally could see characters correspondences between the series (not point out that they are copycats, after all, their conjectures are different... differently context and locals - Kusuriya being apparently in Ancient China). If you like curious protagonists that seem to have every answer to their own respective fields of knowledge and, along the way, debating social roles and Information as power (most of time, presenting those topics implicitly), both anime are absolutely bangers.

Animation and characters design looks similar. Reasonable good looking fights and "lightheart action packed" if I could describe shortly. The beast tamer anime actually have a really dedicated protagonist who doesn't mind working for the sake of others which can be the quite opposite while compared to Jitsu wa Ore [...] but both of them still care for the closest ones (their friends and family) just strong as equally. If you're looking for lightheart animes with their eventual tension, those animes are for you. Cute, smooth and laid back overall... describing a perfect Saturday afternoon in my book.

Love the colors, vibes and the tone in both series: simplistic, frequently calm and adventurous in their own way.

Both animes are somewhat chaotic. The protagonists are absolutely madlads and the heroines aren't far behind it. Although Kyuukyoku have a more close concept related to Sword Art Online, you could say that, just like KamiNaki, it does end up falling into the "Isekai" category. The main focus of the series, nonetheless, it is the chaotic humor and over exaggeration in the circumstances. Really expressive characters and funny ones.

Lovely funny roaster of characters in both series. The chemistry of chaos between all of them is marvelous. Both have skeptical protagonist with a mad-thirsty roaster of side characters. Both series does really well in making funny, compelling and iconic moments with it's crew. Murenase is more related to a slice of life approach and, by its premise, have a "zoology" context- having a anthropomorphic school of humana-animals with each student being of a distinct animal race, humans including but also chimpanzees, wolves, pandas and even sloths. KamiNaki would have a more "generic" Isekai world but it actually has a twist and the story itself grows rather intriguing than initially though... but what stands out is the YTP vibe in the whole comedic events... it's so chaotic but so good and the characters are really charismatic. Both series are hidden gems in this "chaotic comedy" styles and are, for sure, contenders for my favorite animes of sort.

I guess this is very subjective but the "vibes" of these two animes resonates to each other. The story are really different, Tokyo Revengers driven by time travel in a modern world and infiltration in Tokyo gangs and dangerous people in order to avoid the protagonist love interest to be killed, and Jigokuraku regarding a Ninja dude that was discharged from his duties because couldn't stand to kill anymore due his wife influence hence making him useless for his retainer and, now, he meets a strong executioner that allergies him safety if he works for the shogun in order to explore an everafter world that challenges the natural precepts of live- Jigokuraku... all for the journey in achieving immortality for the shogun. I guess the similarities between the two are built in order to achieve a happy end for the two protagonist with their love interest, even if they have to challenge unnatural situations.

Tomo-chan wa Onnanoko!
|
Both animes have a protagonist that can look pretty boyish per see (looks and attitudes overall). The main differences that I notice was that "[...] Girl Beats Boys" follows a more serious path and, actually, it has some interesting motivation for the girl looks boyish (something related to her family and, specifically, with her twin- a guy btw). I remember how the 2017 was overwhelming underrated and I think is excellent that Tomo-chan anime's made me reminder me about this "old"-short show (each episode is about 8 minutes long btw). I, genuinely, thought it was badass back when it was airing so, if you actually missed a focus in the dilemma by assuming a boy persona rather than a girl in Tomo-chan show this might be up your alley. Tomo-chan, in other hand, has a great focus in the humor following the circumstances of misunderstanding regarding Tomo's gender and breaking "the code" between what is commonly/sense in man and woman interactions. By anyway, as it would be expected, both shows follows different leads despite containing similar elements. To sum up: "[...] Girl Beats Boy" have fights between the protagonist (a girl) with "school leaders/gang leaders" while in school and the objective, more or less, was to take control of the school in disguise as a man, "Tomo-chan [...]", differently, is about a girl that has mannerisms like a boy and she starts comfortable by being like that but while entering high school she notice that her best friend- a boy (and love interest) misudestand her as a guy, specifically, as "partners in 'crime'" ("shinyu" or something like that) and humorous tensions between each other are trigger by "awkward" situations. Both shows seemed very good throughout their specific topics/approaches.

In a sense, you could say the protagonists in both series have everything thing to be the cliché of the genre but they turn 180° in that premise with the middle finger on. Basically, this is what mades both anime and, honestly, their heroines aren't half bad so if you like smart ass protagonists but not glamorous one those might be good picks and, mainly Kyuukyoku, have interesting side characters but I enjoy the "chemistry" between them in both series nonetheless.

Komi-san wa, Comyushou desu.
|
Both heroine characters have troubles regarding communication. Senryuu's main heroine have problems towards dialoguing with her friends and, in effect of a counter measure, she uses a japanese short poem technique- the "Senryuu". Senryuu shoujo plot works around these unusual techniques of literature (extremely specific by the way) in order to develop and maintain her relationships. For that, the main character helps the girl a lot. Komi-san, similarly, has communication difficulties as well but, in a certain sense, it didn't manifest a decent counter measure for aid her in this despite, of course, the limited interactions with the main character in terms of, objectively, showing her thoughts about the sorrounding and her interests. She can't really use her voice to express herself. For that, the protagonist has an eager desire to help her. As you can see, "communication" is the main keyword here- the differences rely in the aspects that they will be able to find to achieve a pleasant interaction in the label of social relations; one has already find a way to express herself and the other is figuring out and, utmost, trying to finally be able to speak without anxiety and overflowing feelings corrupting her intentions.

Sekai Saikou no Ansatsusha, Isekai Kizoku ni Tensei suru
|
Sekai Saikou no Ansatsusha is relatable to Fate/Zero due the main character nature. Kiritsugu resembles, somewhat, this greatest world assassin by also being an skillful person while coming to contracts and "hitman" portfolio. Important to be said that, yet, Fate's mc seems to be more carrying and does have a slightly clearer goal, although, kinda distorted and idealistic unlikely to happen. I don't know much about the "Sekai Saikou no Ansatsusha" development but both figures have some serious chaotic neutral alignment, after all, there's hardly any ego traits in their persona, making hard to them being their judges besides using logical reasoning. In the end, most of times, they can only be slaves of something and doesn't like much the trouble dealing with emotional behaviour. Regardless, both animes seem to deal rly good with "seinen fantasy" genre (still, interesting to mention, I did notice some evident sensualization in the more recent anime which is rare to find in Fate/Zero- even so, a common trait in the rest of the Fate franchise).
