Well, seasonal anime: Tower of God & Villainess aswell, Definitely I agree with you bro, these two animes have surprised me a lot. Even more Villainess, since I wasn't expecting it to be so pleasant & fun to watch. Now with sequels: Kaguya sama s2 & Fruits Basket s2 are the ones I'm liking the most. Kakushigoto is good too. Is there a show you hated this season? Me is Shin Sakura Taisen the Animation, although I'm watching it's not a very good one yet but your cgi which in my opinion is the worst part of the show & the story is very weak. As I don't drop anime, I'm holding but I confess it's being hard bro lol.

I didn't read the manga but I used to read reviews about the chapters so I knew what was going to happen at the anime & when the manga was over I saw MANY PEOPLE complaining about the end, so already I hoped that the anime ending wouldn't change much. In my opinion I could have had a kiss between Natsu & Lucy but okay. In general it is an anime that I do not regret to have watched despite having its flaws as I mentioned before. Indeed, I would also recommend still but that Fairy Tail has good characters. I hope to see the 100-year mission in anime someday.

Since you recommended it, I'll check it out soon. Thanks bro. Wow Kimetsu no Yaiba manga ended :O

I can understand your point of view, bro. Although it doesn't bother me, I know there are people who don't like this Closed Caption style subtitles. Could simple have the option to change the style so those who bothered would just change. I guess that could solve this problem. Maybe that kind of subs style is easier, well really idk.

Fair enough. I usually watch many animes seasonal & sometimes I watch with dub, for example last season, Runway de Waratte & Jibaku Shounen Hanako-kun. I also was watching Ishuzoku Reviewers but Funimation interrupted the dub. In my opinion they were good dubs. Indeed, that's a good idea. I sometimes watch sub & dub just to compare both is nice haha. When dub is of poor quality it is really hard to watch, especially if you stop to think that in japanese the work was done better. Kimi no na Wa I only watched with sub. I guess that I'll give dub a chance, still more with you talking this. Tbh you're the milesimo praising the dub of Fullmetal Alchemist lol. Hmm I guess that Soul Eater, My Hero Academia & No Game no Life.
AndyKyrielight May 15, 2020 6:38 PM
Hmm got it. You're watching some seasonal anime bro?

Yeah, I can say the same. You recommend Clannad btw?

This is one of the main criticisms of Fairy Tail, I can understand you. Fairy Tail, the friendship was too overpowered. And that is one of my problems watching Fairy Tail and especially the ending was disappointing in the last series. They introduced really overpowered enemies but their defeat was just like meh, even if they're villains I knew they needed justice for it.
There were other problems too like introducing the Fairy Tail's most strongest member but he wasn't even participating in almost every arc, like what was his purpose anyways? I knew they did participate him in a few arcs but most of them was no, he was badass and I really wanted him to see fight.
It's kinda funny how Natsu will be beaten by this villain for a few moments and later on he just destroys them for some reason and it applies to the other main characters too. But let's get on to the good parts, I'll be honest, the first few episodes were amazing! Every arc did not disappoint me watching it, except for how the villains were destroyed because of friendship. I liked it to be honest, it was somehow unique.
Not just that, the characters were also lovable. There were really funny parts into it and I ENJOYED it! Natsu is really cute and a crackhead too at times.
So for me, I can't say it's trash or bad. I also can't say it's one of the best anime. But it was a rollercoaster of emotions, there were times it made me laugh, cry, angry, disappointed. The characters are not really stupid, they treated their friends like family and truly loved them.
This was my first anime that I loved by the way, I watched it just for fun at first but with the time it one of my favorites anime just because I had fun watching the various funny moments. No matter how much trouble the anime have, it's been fun for me. Fair enough. About One Piece do you prefer anime or manga?

VRV is not available here in Canada man T.T I like HiDive much more than Crunchyroll. Btw do you prefer shows with dub or sub bro? I confess that if the dub is good I'll go with that.

AndyKyrielight May 12, 2020 4:15 PM
Wow nice man. I imagine you must have really enjoyed the story. Do you intend to do that with some other manga?

Now you spoke a truth man... I confess I only used the crunchyroll before but with Funimation, getting so many exclusive shows for your platform, I had no choice but to sign up for the service. Besides, they get about 70 % of the seasons. I agree with you that's really a boring thing, If you want to watch Love is War season 2, you have to go for funimation... & unfortunately that's going to happen a lot my friend. Indeed, I don't like Funimations app either It's much better to watch on the PC the experience improves a lot.

Yeah man Angel Beats is truly an amazing anime with amazing animation, hilarious moments, sad moments, likeable characters, & an engaging story.. But also is very sad. My favorite character in this show is a tie between Kanade & Yuri. Kanade is known to be the enemy of the Afterlife Battlefront & the rival to Yuri. Kanade is pretty quiet & reserved, yet, she's also arguably the most powerful character in the series & has so many epic moments. Wow blu-ray its out of print? So how nice that you bought it before.
As I mentioned before, my favorite show is One Piece. My biggest problem, one I have with most kid-friendly shonen anime, NO ONE DIES. There are no notable deaths except for two great souls, may they Rest In Peace. It makes sense that Luffy might not kill people because of the nature of specific attacks, but it is sort of annoying that no one dies even when they fight characters with actual deadly weapons like Zoro. But for reasons I will mention later on I can give it a pass. The second problem that people say that I don’t necessarily have a problem with is how repetitive episodes can get. I’m super forgetful, & sometimes I miss a connection from an earlier point in the show, so the flashbacks aren’t that bad personally. However, they do tend to be a bit much some points, & for certain people, they may be particularly troublesome to tolerate. Additionally, the intro to the show makes the episodes way shorter than the 20 minutes they should be. I don’t remember the number, but there was a point when I was watching that with the intro & the opening theme (two different things) the episode didn’t start until around the 7-minute mark & pairing that with flashbacks & the closing theme it amounted to 10 minutes of new content per episode. However, it was not always this bad, & after they got rid of the long intro, it was no longer a problem.
Character-wise I only have one problem, Oda really hoed Robin when she joined the Straw Hats. I understand that she went from Baroque Works, a large scale mercenary group under a cutthroat warlord to joining the relatively non-lethal straw hats. But come on, she was a badass who could kill fifty people in a second by snapping their necks, I wanna see that Robin again.

A Silent Voice I'm thinking about getting the blu-ray & it's only costing CDN$ 23.99. You were lucky you had English subs haha. I only watched the original Japanese version, I want to see now in english dub. Yeah I'm gonna wait for Tenki no ko in blu-ray so I can watch Besides, the watching experience will be much better. Looking forward to release of movie but I think it's gonna take a while. That's pretty hard to happen man, Netflix would never let. The most that could happen is blu ray version on Netflix. Btw Which streaming platform do you think offers you the best experience? In your opinion ofc.
AndyKyrielight May 9, 2020 8:09 PM
Wow 10 years have passed dude :O So you watched the anime & thought I had to start buying the manga so was where it all began, very nice.
I can see that you "LOVED it" lol buying All 25 volumes is something that many would not do. Was it too expensive? I think if I were you, I'd do the same thing.
Because if I liked the anime a lot, why not buy all the manga volumes?

Indeed, I agree with your point of view my friend. I currently use Crunchyrool, Funimation & HiDive & Netflix aswell & as you said yourself each one receives their own exclusive shows & If the user wants to watch, he has to sign up for them & consequently it becomes very expensive. I think that's a big problem, for example, Netflix became popular & others rushed to do the same. & what comes out worse in this story is us. The fact they compete for exclusive rights to content, while maybe annoying to a consumer who wants to be able to subscribe to just one & access everything ain't gonna happen in the foreseeable, as exclusivity is a long-held model of competitive differentiation that predates streaming services, look at premium cable channels jockeying for this or that movie, or basic cable channels getting syndication rights for this or that rerun. For example Netflix when you first see their site, you see hundreds of movies! But scrolling through the site you’ll find that they only list a few dozen over & over again & yeah I also hate their UI, it has a lot of problems as you said yourself.
I hope this will not happen because it will be very bad to pay the same price that cable or satellite because the difference in streaming is that it is very cost effective & it has to be therefore cheap.

Now it all makes sense & I can understand a little bit why everyone calls this second core of their second season.
Yeah dude is exactly this. Now I ask you which anime is your favorite & which one you think is the flaw in it? lmk.

I watched the movie in 2018 & really LOVED all aspects about it, it touches on such a non spoken about topic & tells a beautiful story of a bully changing his life around. In my opinion is just as good as "Kimi no Na wa" Getting the Blu-ray of that wonderful movie was a good idea.
Kyoto Animation always surprising us whether with good movies or animes aswell. Yup do this, preferably you can up to buy.
AndyKyrielight May 7, 2020 6:12 PM
Hmm now I understand. Nice mangas I have to say, but do you remember more or less how long you have those mangas?
If you really buying the mangas just to have something new and never read again, you did right to have sold.

Yeah, I agree with you. Exactly dude but it's restricted to people who live in Japan in other words, the West is out for the time being. But this is a great evolution Imagine now people aren't just restricted to watching on TV, I think that's a fantastic idea. I imagine that this format will replace the blu-ray in the sense of censorship, for example on TV is censored, so you want to watch uncensored sign the service.

I think it's stupid to hate something for just not liking it or by show being popular. To be honest, I don't think there's a perfect anime even if you like it a lot, you'll always have flaws. And you don't recognize that just makes you a fanboy. These days I'm looking for more enjoying the show than worrying about technical details. So I'll do the same with SAO I won't think too much about, just enjoying the show. I'll use One piece as an example I love the anime but I know it's flawed so it doesn't make me like it any less. Its really the second core of the first season? Sorry then for my mistake. Great dude, same that you like it you still understand why people loathe it.

You spoke pretty now dude, is exactly this. Both movies have their own message so it's really okay to have similarities. Besides like you say, you need to separate things before you can fully engross yourself in a story and yes I agree with you on that point. All the reviews I saw just did compare with Kimi no wa. Don't understand this they're different movies. Btw have you ever watched A Silent Voice? (anime movie aswell)
AndyKyrielight May 6, 2020 7:37 PM
Wow really man? How sad that you sold your collection. But how nice that you still kept some, which mangas you still have? I have my collection of course still small why I buy only when I like anime or just to continue story on manga. I'd rather have it in physical copy than read online I can't explain why I think it's more comfortable to read. What do you think about? Do you like to read online?

You spoke a great truth now, you set a good example, you want to watch Baccano but you don't have it on any streaming service, so what you have left is buy expensive blu-ray of anime or watch pirate, I love to watch legalized but unfortunately it's not always possible. I guess if it was a little cheaper Blu-ray I might even live longer. You don't have much to do one hour or another you'll end up replacing. How many years do you think Physical Media will last? I think that in the next 10 years it might just be exist streaming anime. I saw something curious has studios in japan that have their own streaming service and it's not broadcast on TV. Have you ever heard of it?

Yeah was in fact the first to make the isekai genre popular, unfortunately then a bunch of isekai began to arrive one copy of the other without any creativity.
I go with this mentality, I hope it's fun. When you watched SAO you had this vision? Or did you expect to find a perfect anime with no flaws at all? I'd love to hear about it. Newest season was good? Nice heard this because I only saw people saying bad things about the seasons especially the 2nd. I don't understand why SAO suffers so much hate, hating on SAO is almost what makes it so popular. I confess I like A1 pictures, so I have to agree they can do an excellent job.

To be honest with you, I don't see where it's bad that he looks like Kimi no na wa? They saw the success of Kimi no na wa and they thought we'd make a different movie with some similarities. And that's what happened, I think people's mistake was expecting it to be completely different from its predecessor Since it's obvious that it would have similarities between both. But both shows should be seen as something separate. While both movies explore the theme of teen romance, the premises of these two movies lie beyond the romance. Tenki no Ko captures every teenager's desire to be independent, to have a naive curiosity of the adult world. Every situation our characters are faced with is a painfully accurate portrayal of the problems we face in our world.

AndyKyrielight May 4, 2020 8:12 PM
$50 is on price now $219 wow very expensive dude. You are almost completing the collection nice xD
You buy manga too? btw.

I understand your point of view pal. But I think that little by little people will stop buying physical copies and just get streaming. For example in japan the sales of blu ray down over the years and only the collectors are still buying. In other words DVD/Blu-ray is going to get more and more scarce.
In fact I agree with you in that sense "If the internet is down, or there is a licensing issue that results in an anime being taken off streaming, I still own it" & Blu-ray really has an excellent picture and audio quality. People are going down the streaming path for the reasons I mentioned above and also by being the cheapest option and practical too.

Now I understand lol. Yeah They did a excellent job with the anime so there's no reason to be afraid of them disappointing with the movie and that movie usually has more production time and also budget. I believe Ufotable can do even better than the anime.

SAO It was the first isekai anime to succeed, am I right? And besides, I think he's one of the most famous out there. I think I'm gonna dive into SAO after all like you just said go in there just hoping enjoy it.

Okay thanks, "Its animated very similarly" I have to watch that movie sooooon, I hope you're as good as Kimi no Na Wa was. Cool that occurs in the same universe :O Besides, it is always good to watch an anime movie with good animation.
AndyKyrielight May 2, 2020 4:41 PM
I can understand a little bit you like to buy physical releases since it's kind of cool to have it in physical media. Nice which Monogatari do you have so far? What is the price of the last one you obtained? I hope that come for streaming soon so that we can legally watch.
Do you also think the stream of anime is more comfortable to watch? Just access some dipositive with internet and the magic happens.

In fact, it's great to have the experience of watching first in anime for the fact that much more emotion passes through. I just read the beginning of the manga, so I'm practically gonna get the first impression in the movie. Climax? Can you can talk a little more about it I'm curious now lol.
What are your expectations for the movie since you already know the events that will happen? Do you think the animation will be good?

Yeah bro I can understand what you're feeling, since I are also waiting Re: Zero T.T another fan of SAO that I find lol. Do you recommend SAO?

Wow did you watch 20 times :O I love that movie too, It was very emocinating of watching. I agree with you masterpiece indeed. Besides the fact that the story is very good the animation is very beautiful to see. I also wanted the opportunity to watch 1st time again. Not unfortunally, I haven't had a chance to watch but I want to. Really bro? Very cool, is the movie like Kimi no wa?

AndyKyrielight May 2, 2020 5:02 AM
Durarara I'm finishing and then I'm going to watch the second season. I hear that the second season starts introducing a lot of characters and it’s not as good as the first but I still have to watch to see if this is true. Nice taste in ops xD

It's been awhile since I bought my last anime, now I just watch it streaming although unfortunately there is no way to have all the anime in the world. In addition to being the cheapest option you have and you are consuming legally. Here in Canada the same thing happens there is no way to get it without buying the DVDs/BDs :/
So I will have to watch pirate unfortunately.

I hope you like it bro. Kimetsu no Yaiba? I don't think you will regret it.

New movie that unfortunately was postponed damn coronavirus.
In addition to what other shows are also being postponed have you seen? Thanks bro! Yeah you're right I watched Hyouka and loved the show It has good characters too (Houtarou and Chitanda) I see that you like Kimi no Na wa too? Best movie already done?
AndyKyrielight Apr 30, 2020 6:58 PM
Yeah I'm doing pretty good!

Nice Monogatari series it's always good I still have to watch the rest. Beastars I already heard about it very well so I’m not surprised you’re enjoying it.
Well, I'm just finishing watching Durarara is a show I'm really enjoying. Then I'll want to watch Baccano because it's a show of the same author and same style. I also want to watch Saiki Kusuo at Ψ-nan. Manga wise I've been surprised with Kanojo Okarishimasu I am loving it. Violet in favorites man of culture XD
