It is Buddha who said it best when he said, “Should you find a wise critic to point out your faults, follow him as you would a guide to hidden treasure.” Let me preface this by saying that I really enjoy this trope inhumanly, especially the way 'the last game' did it. The storyline unfolded, and the likeability of the characters and the art style made everything so colorful. This manga is a gem, which is why I felt super when I realized that there was another manga that followed the trope excellently while adding tropes like otaku fl, and a princely ml whos really a part of the mafia. Both have made me laugh, cry, and fangirl over. While I have a preference for childhood friends, enemies to lovers, kundere fl, and arrogant boy tropes, I still endorse Kaichou-kun no Shimobe wholeheartedly as they are both delightful shoujo mangas. Kaichou-Kun no Shimobe is written by the excellent Hozuno Miyako with 3 volumes and the last game is by the marvelous Amano Shinobu with 11 volumes.go read it
