I also didn't enjoy watching any gundam series, for mecha I'd rather choose gyrozetter or dennou boukenki webdiver for lighter plot but still enjoyable
well, I'm an anti-mainstream type of watcher if I can say
if you sum the total of digimon's episodes, it's only 332 episodes (6 seasons) in total where pokemon now has 800++ episodes (6 seasons too with XY being still ongoing one) with same main character.
I only watch japanese, for both digimon and pokemon. I never watch in english dub
I see, so the reason is because of nostalgia
digimon anime is the opposite of pokemon, and it doesn't afraid of changing. Also per season it only contain around 50 episodes, which is not too much and not too few. Even though I didn't enjoy all the season
I see Satoshit doesn't mature at all in XY
and it's more or less is just the same, only with a little differences
