Additional Cast for 'Ame to Kimi to' Announced
The official website of the Ame to Kimi to (With You and the Rain) television anime announced six additional cast on Monday. The anime series adapting Kou Nikaidou's slice of life comedy manga will air on TV Asahi and its 24 affiliate stations' NUManimation programming block and BS Asahi in July 2025.Cast
Kimi: Anna Mugiho (Dog Signal)
Tatsuo: Youji Ueda (Vinland Saga)
Michiko: Mie Sonozaki (Great Pretender)
Teru: Kikunosuke Toya (Chainsaw Man)
Wako: Yumiri Hanamori (Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai)
Veterinarian: Chafurin (Higurashi no Naku Koro ni)
Tomohiro Tsukimisato (Ueno-san wa Bukiyou) is directing the anime at Lesprit. Touko Machida (Uramichi Oniisan) is handling the series composition and Ayano Oowada (Bikkurimen) is designing the characters.
Nikaidou began posting the manga on their Twitter account in May 2020 before beginning official serialization in Weekly Young Magazine in August that year. Kodansha published the seventh volume in September 2024.
Kodansha USA licensed the manga in English for digital release in October 2021. The seventh volume went on sale on February 11.
