'Saikyou no Ousama, Nidome no Jinsei wa Nani wo Suru?' Unveils Additional Cast, Opening Theme, First Promo

The official website for the television anime adaptation of TurtleMe's The Beginning After The End webtoon unveiled additional cast, opening theme, key visual (pictured), and the first promotional video on Wednesday. The anime is scheduled to premiere on April 2 at 11:30 p.m. on AT-X, followed by Fuji TV, Kansai TV, and Tokai TV.

Durden Walker: Shinya Takahashi (DD Hokuto no Ken 2 Ichigo Aji+)
Adam Krensh: Taihi Kimura (Skip to Loafer)
Helen Shard: Miyuu Ogura (Jigokuraku)
Angela Rose: Riko Akechi
Sylvia: Shiori Izawa (Chainsaw Man)

KALA is performing the opening theme "KINGSBLOOD," which is previewed in the promotional video below.

Keitarou Motonaga (Hametsu no Oukoku) is helming the anime at Studio A-CAT. Takamitsu Kouno (Kikansha no Mahou wa Tokubetsu desu) is handling the series composition and Masami Sueoka (Maougun Saikyou no Majutsushi wa Ningen datta) is designing the characters. Keiji Inai (Dungeon ni Deai wo Motomeru no wa Machigatteiru Darou ka) is composing the music.

The webtoon, based on TurtleMe's original 2017 web novel, began on Tapas in July 2018 and features illustrations by Fuyuki23. Beginning the sixth season of the webtoon in June 2023, Rise Entertainment took over the artwork. The webtoon has been published in Japan by Piccoma since 2020.

Yen Press licensed the webtoon in English in 2021 and released the sixth volume last August. The seventh volume is planned for a March 25 release.

I never imagined the adaptation would look like your average mass produced isekai when I used to think about this series getting an adaptation lol.

soooo... this is the main trailer of tbate?! (one of the best webtoon out rn) we're cooked ngl, just being a realist.

"don't judge by the trailer" warriors about to jump me but it's not going to live up to the webtoon and be mid as hell fr. deserved a better treatment, same as suckamoto days

For a second I thought this is nidome no jinsei (the anime which was cancelled because the author made certain remarks about China).
