'Henjin no Salad Bowl' Unveils Additional Cast, Theme Songs, First Promo
The official website of the Henjin no Salad Bowl (Salad Bowl of Eccentrics) television anime revealed additional cast, theme songs, and the main promotional video. The anime is scheduled to premiere on April 5 at 1:28 a.m. on TBS, followed by CBC TV, BS11, and AT-X.Cast
Isao Kusanagi: Youji Ueda (Sousou no Frieren)
Takeo: Shinnosuke Tachibana (Tokyo Ghoul)
Suzuki: Kousuke Toriumi (JoJo no Kimyou na Bouken Part 5: Ougon no Kaze)
Singer-songwriter Wanuka is performing the opening theme "Gif ni Ted" and Meiyo Densetsu performs the ending theme "Konban no Kenka." The opening theme is previewed in the promotional video below.
Masafumi Satou (Denki-gai no Honya-san) is directing the anime at SynergySP and Studio Comet. Yomi Hirasaka (Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai) and Kenichi Yamashita (Kawaikereba Hentai demo Suki ni Natte Kuremasu ka?) are handling the script and series composition. Kazuhiro Fukuchi (BNA animation director) is designing the characters. Misaki Umase (Ooyukiumi no Kaina), Tsukumi Tanaka, and Hanae Nakamura (5-toubun no Hanayome) are composing the music.
Hirasaka began writing the fantasy comedy novel under the Shogakukan's Gagaga Bunko imprint in October 2021, with illustrations by Kantoku. Shogakukan published the sixth volume on February 19.
A manga adaptation by Koutarou Yamada began on the Sunday Webry website on September 27. The third volume shipped in November 2023.
