'Seiken Gakuin no Makentsukai' Announces Main Cast

The official Twitter of the Seiken Gakuin no Makentsukai (The Demon Sword Master of Excalibur Academy) television anime announced the main cast members on Saturday.

Riselia Ray Crystalia: Yui Ishikawa (NieR:Automata Ver1.1a)
Regina Mercedes: Aya Suzaki (Ansatsu Kyoushitsu)
Elfiné Phillet: Hiromi Igarashi (High School Fleet)
Sakuya Sieglinde: Honoka Kuroki (Isekai Meikyuu de Harem wo)
Shary: Arisa Nakada (Bloodivores)

Animation studio Passione is producing the anime.

The anime adapts Yuu Shimizu's action fantasy light novel, which launched with illustrations by Asagi Toosaka (Girly Air Force) in May 2019, two months after concluding Seireitsukai no Blade Dance (Blade Dance of the Elementalers). Kadokawa published the light novel under its MF Bunko J imprint and released the 11th volume in November 2022, with the 12th volume scheduled to be released on March 25.

Asuka Keigen began serializing a manga adaptation in Monthly Shounen Ace magazine in November 2019. The fifth volume was released in May 2022, and the sixth volume is set for a March 25 release.

Yen Press licensed both the novel and manga in English in November 2019 and April 2022, respectively. The seventh novel volume was released in December 2022, and the first manga volume went on sale in November 2022.

Well, it has the same concept as seirei tsukai no blade dance. the author's other novel.

MC demon lord -> check
school -> check
one room with girl -> check
have an ultimate move from the past -> check

Just a note, the MC from blade dance only has one male enemy from volume one through volume 20

I just hope that this anime doesn't turn bad like its predecessor back in 2014

Oh shit as generic as blade dance was for its time, I'd gladly take battle harems back over Kirito clone isekai, it's me after all

Is this show gonna be the same when it comes to villains?

I've noticed they seem to be bringing the magic school anime theme back slowly

No idea. But I am aware it is an harem with ecchi.
