Story - 7 - Very cliche but I'm enjoying the new dark spin they're putting on it I'm sick of happy go lucky super OP harem fest other-world manga. It definitely seems like their might be an OP mc but it might be a little ways off. The drama is rather cliche as well but feels somewhat fresh considering it's an otherworld manga. So far I love it. I hope there won't be a harem though it'd be out of place in this manga but it considering how many otherworld manga there are it might need fan-service to stay afloat. Any ways it's worth a ... look ignore that harsh ass review above me ( below? ) shield hero is good yeah but I've read EXTREMELY similar manga do it better with better art and a story full of overdone "Woe is me they hate me, the hero of ______." Check my list for the manga Konijiki something it's great.

Art - 8 - Basic art (sorta) but the art makes the monsters look nice so far. It's pretty good if you aren't picky like some. Check it out you'll get what I mean.


Enjoyment - 9 - I'm biased as fuck and love otherworld manga. A fair rating would be 7-8.


Character - 7 - maybe higher it's too early to tell but I like it reall gud.


Overall - 8 - really close to 9 but like I said its early and could possibly take down ward spiral like all manga with popular themes.

The only reason I wrote this is because the other dude was way to harsh for a manga with so few chapters hell you could say I'm being too generous but honestly I have high hopes. I mean obviously the other guy is sick of these manga types so he'll shit all over it. So yeah I urge you to check it out I have very high hopes.



UPDATE: I've began reading the Light Novel for this Manga I hate to say that everything I was praising this Manga for is just null at this point. The drama is gone and the tension is non existent, it turns into a haremy circle jerk about how cool our MC is. The villains are just so hilariously exaggerated because the author cant be bothered to give the any personality other than "We rape girl and kill guys cause were evil I bet you want us to die". At this point I doubt we're gonna see any real revenge dished out but I think you can look up spoilers if you'd like to save yourself the trouble, I'm too far in to just drop this though so i'll just tough it out. I'll leave the previous rating I left in the description above but I'll alter the score for the new rating. I should've listened to the dude below me, he had the common sense not to be tricked by an Isekai into thinking it would be anything but some random Japanese dudes wish fulfillment fantasy.

This isn't a rating for the LN for those thinking I might have done that, this is for the current chapter in the manga and where things are heading.



Story- went from a 7 to a very generous 3, only reason I won't give it anything lower is because MAYBE the manga will stray from the Light Novel in future chapters and redeem itself. If not, this manga deserves no mercy. I read this online for free and I still feel ripped off.

Art- I still like the art, it's been pretty consistent and good in my opinion. 8

Character- MC went from a man with a vengeance to some moron with hot girls who like him for no reason messing around in a dungeon for lulz. 7 to a 3, I've read much worse.


enjoyment- 9 to a 2, terrible characters added onto a story that's just drudging along at a painfully slow pace doesn't make for an enjoyable manga.

overall score is a 3 or 4, I think I rate things too harshly but so maybe a 3 from me is a 4 to anyone else.

I read the manga and it was horrible. The main protagonist is dumped because of a weakling he is.
Then of course his only motivation to clear the dungeon is revenge. He goes from goody two shoes to a harbinger of death..?


The girl who seems full of sunshine and rainbows turns into a bitch and then.. ahh i don't feel like talking about it. Characters are too bad. I haven't seen worse. Okay I did (SAO), but still.

The fights have no logic. The mc can doge easily etc etc because his agility is high? That's an asspull because there were monsters who could kill ... him easily in the beginning but didn't because he is "the main protagonist".

The ending was all over the place. The ending was so bad that hunter x hunter (2011) ending seems better. The ending brought new character which was never introduced or mad a hint before.

The ending is not really an ending as I believe they intended to make more manga.

Anyway I will end my review here by saying don't read this manga, there are better ones.

Story : 3
- Mediocre at best. The "dramas" feels extremely forced, and used mainly to advance the plot, which is super cliche and stupid at this point so far. It is your typical average teenage boy getting transferred into another fantasy world. Well while it is true that this isn't a harem series in which the character is overly OP and just an overall trash harem/waifubait of a mess, the premise of this manga isn't unique or refreshing, and have been done better before (Tate no Yuusha Nariagari). While I do have a soft spot for series that take a darker approach on these ... kind of premises, this manga is a complete mess of a writing. It just showed how immature and incompetent the writer is. I would have given it a 3 or 4, but since it is fairly new, I will give it another chance
Characters: 2
- Oh god where do I even begin... The MC is a typical teenage boy who wishes to have a peaceful life and that's his only damn defining trait( Yeah because we totally never got this type of character before). I'm not against his personality or something but it's extremely dreadful to the point of being dreadful. What's worse is that he is extremely naive, and is an absolute imbecile. I found myself getting angry and frustrated at him instead of the villains. He is the type of guy that would make you want to yell "Use your f***king head for god's sake".
- The Villains have no defining traits except being scummy. Completely and dreadfully shallow and one-dimensional. They have no purposes or motivations, and are there to just move the plot along. I would even call it insulting to my intelligence.
- As for the so-called "God", maybe it's just me but his character designs really piss me off for some reason. Oh , did I mention that the character designs are completely cliche and stereotypical too ? The character designs are completely cliche and stereotypical. Enough of that. God literally just appears out of no-where , uncalled for , and just start dumping expositions after teleporting(?) the characters to somewhere(?). They never really explain what is going on or maybe I just didn't pay enough attention because I was so bored muscling through this garbage. The part where that guy started charging in at God and got killed was just so freaking comically horrible that it was ironically funny. Not that I'm laughing at the funniness of that scene, I'm just laughing at how much of an incompetent hack the writer is. After that guy was slaughtered, everyone was kind of freaked out , in a very awkward and bizarre way. Just made the whole scene seemed like a comic relief instead of a serious moment that should have define and establish the tone of the series.
Art: 3
- Some may call it "stylizing" or "unique" but to me, the art is just complete trash. No details whatsoever, the character designs are cliche and stereotypical, and many more. I could talk more but it's just trash.
Enjoyment: 2
- A complete mess that I dreadfully pulled myself through, even though I only read 2 chapters, the manga is so bad that I just couldnt bear it. I was just thinking and hoping that the series would get progressively better, and It was the only motivation that kept me going through this pile of garbage. The pacing is a clusterfuck too.
Overall :
- So far, it's trash , and it seems like it will stay that way. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this sack of trash whatsoever. Unless you want your intelligence to be insulted through generic and shallow characters, stupid and cliche plots, and abysmal artstyle.

I always liked the premise of a character who is betrayed and driven by revenge to get stronger, but this manga does not use very well and ends up distorting halfway and ends in a horrifying way.
The manga is very similar to Arifureta, but unlike the one that gives up revenge and begins to focus on how to return to its original world, Dungeon Seeker remains obsessed with revenge, but the ending is so bad that the whole development of the story that It's cool becomes skippable.
About the story: Much of the work is interesting, but the ending spoils with virtually all of manga's development.
Characters: ... The main characters are well developed, except for the girl who causes the plot twist of the ending.
Art: Beautiful, nothing to complain about.
I recommend? If you like Arifureta and want a manga with a similar premise yes, however you might be disappointed with the ending.

The basic premise of dungeon seeker is your basic isekai "revenge" story. Some guy gets transported into another world and gets some form of special abilities but is actually pretty weak at the start, only too become insanely op as you reach chapter 2. Also he gets betrayed and has to fight his way through a dungeon, which is weird cause the manga is called dungeon seeker not dungeon fighter. The poor lad never wanted to seek the dungeon, he was just betrayed.

Story-1 The story starts off mediocre, and is your average edgy manga that you see so often nowadays. At least in ... the beginning it looked like he had to overcome his difficulties creatively, using tactics and such but then it rapidly declines into a "I going suffer cause I'm edgy and then I'm gonna rekt your ass" kind of story. The story also doesn't really make any sense, with conveniently placed safe zones, inconsistent writing and a couple of unexplained plot holes.

Art-2 The art is below average but what makes it really bad in my opinion is how the artist tries to cramp in as many things as he can into a single fight scene. The enemies and background aren't really that detailed but there's so many objects on the screen that it becomes an absolute mess. You may say that it's to fit in with the edginess of the story, but i find it extremely hard to look at.

Characters-1 The characters in this manga is absolutely terrible. One minute the MC is like "I'm going to get revenge on everyone how could they betrayed me like that" and the next he's "Aw man, I'm sure she doesn't mean it, she just trying to survive <3<3<3". There isn't really any redeeming features other than his edginess and makes him pretty unlikable. All the supporting characters are also written to be absolute a****** to emphasize on the edginess but without any development or backstory, which just makes them forced and unnatural.

Enjoyment-3 The only reason why i gave and enjoyment of 3 is because it's so edgy to the point where it becomes kind of funny. Other than that...it's terrible.

Overall-1 I'll only recommend this if you're really into edgy things or if you want to have a cringe-fest. But if you don't want any of those, I suggest you stay away from this pile of garbage.

A story that has more holes than swiss cheese, although calling it a story would be too much, the main character gets betrayed by a girl he saved and she saved him in return or at least tried, and when they get transported in a another world she is a psychopath who betrays him and then she gets tortured and she wants to kill him, and somehow she is stronger or even with the MC's strength, a complete ass pull, the whole story made no sense, not even a single character made sense or had any story to back things up even a little, on ... top of all of that, some characters weren't even explained, the only character in the entire show who had value and was good, was the MC meets, Mia, she gets killed off right after she warms up to the MC, then the MC asks for a wish to revive her after beating the dungeon, and he is refused, that literally served only for a horrible feeling after being the only good character (Mia), nothing is explained in this manga, this is the worst story tell ive ever read/watched, it was interesting to read it but for all the wrong reasons, some manga writers have minds to just make everything horrible without explanation.

This has got to be for me, the most disappointing manga I have ever read, which is surprising because both after and before it i had read so much manga, and i have even read trashy generic manhwas that just repeat the same thing over and over, and I think I actually enjoyed them more than I did this.

The start was good, I really liked it, it was the whole evil god sending them to a different world for entertainment, which to me was pretty nice, but right afterwards it just killed it. It starts of with a literal time skip. We genuinely don't know ... anything about anything and yet we already got a time skip , with nothing at all interesting happening at all throughout that time skip? The characters at the start were pretty nice and I really like the desperation of the Main Character to survive and the whole dungeon is relatively nicely mapped out, the levels are cool, but that is where the good ends. Without mentioning what happens inside of the dungeon, I will just say that all the intensity, seriousness and feeling just evaporates into thin air. The entire story and plot from after he enters the dungeon just feels so rushed as if it is a speedrun. New characters appear and disappear pretty much in the same chapter and of my main reasons for wanting to continue this manga just vanished. Afterwards a random timeskip, then the final battle, which was disappointing and I felt no emotion whatsoever. Right after the battle there is ANOTHER timeskip, and it ends. That's it. I have never been as disappointed in a manga as I have here. It is actually wild how it started good, then it began a speed run and finished as if in less than 3 chapters. The story felt good at the start, had multiple forces pulling it forward but by the end all those were gone, killed off as if they were extras.
