Both series are about a newly formed rock band and their struggles to make it big, augmented with their personal problems, a little romance, and a bit of action. 

A group of four musicians is formed with a certain style of music in mind. Their personalities differ quite a lot from one another, still the band between them can't get broken that easily. <> Blue Giant: more focused on passion and uplifting, Bremen: more focused on comedy. 

Musicians who perform metal or rock style songs (loud music), they aren't shy about using violence and talking smack to provoke others. *The comedy aspect is one of the most important parts of these manga. *There are lots of sexual allusions in both manga.  

Well, where to start? First: the same author, and because of that very similiar art ^^ which is I must to say a grat one, and a funny one - you have to read to see what I mean :) Second: Main character (boy; with misterious past - it's actually more to Bremen's Romio, than to Hareluya, but still we know very little about Hibinio's past, he just showed up in town; is very strong, has one particular move/talent - Romio with coins, and Hibino with pulling things out of his back, often the bat; becomes a lead vocalist in rock band; has a strong will; in general is good person and natural leader; ... probably a lot more, just don't remember it now :) Third: rock, rock, more rock, and a lot of fights. In Bremen it's from the start about making band and music, and in Hareluya it's just recently became main topic (recently I mean chapter 120, or something ;P) Fourth: value of friendship, never giving up, making your dreams come true and so others very high values Fifth: this recomendation get too long, so you just to have to read Bremen or Hareluya II Boy, and I guarantee you - if you liked one you are sure to love the other one :D read more 

They aren't very similar, but they both have bad ass main characters that are alike, also the demonic aspects of their storylines. 

both are delinquent manga, with lots of humor, great battles and cool characters, in the same aesthetic
