After reading even a part of the chapters, you will probably feel the need to listen to some rock music, as the manga doesn’t have a soundtrack, but only the idea of music, so the story has some impact over the reader. Yet, you may get anxious because the plot evolves not so rapidly. Only after many chapters, all the group members will gather together. So, be patient if you wish to read this manga to its last chapters. On the contrary, in the last chapters, the action evolves very quick, so the story isn’t very well balanced. read more

When I first read Bremen I thought that the art was okay and the story seemed okay. But once i got into it the characters really brought themselves out. You got to see the struggle new bands have to go though and still have that underlining theme that just gets to you. I really liked it, but it does have somethings that some maybe adverse to.

Bremen may not be fore everyone but it is a good read for those that do like it.

Now any of you who have read "Beck" or any other music related manga, are in for a surprise. Bremen is much more about Kasuga kicking ass than it is about music, but don't get me wrong, music has a huge role in the plot.

Story: 6.5/10
Why so low? Because the arcs are usually barely connected and quite repetitive. The wrap up for the story seemed thrown in and unsatisfying. The plot also seems to constantly rely on read more

This manga had potential, but it was all wasted on some horrible plotwist, so horrifying that made me nauseous. The characters and the story are overall good, and you could even say it's a masterpiece, if you don't take the ending as consideration, but the ending is so bad that is hard to ignore. As the story proceeds and you get to know the characters better and see they slowly rising as a band the enjoyment is joyful, but it gets rushed near the ending, and I'm positive the author just wanted to get done with it, even if it meant to throw all the read more
