Synopsis

Eleven-year-old Natsuru Nanao is the ace of the soccer team, yet has trouble speaking to girls because of a certain event following his transfer to his current school. Due to his father dying long ago, he lives only with his mother but doesn't let this distract him from his passion for soccer, as he hopes to become a professional player. One day, a female classmate named Rio Suzumura approaches Natsuru, a meeting which signals a huge turning point in his life.

Upon talking with Rio, Natsuru immediately becomes interested in her. After he saves an abandoned cat, he runs into the girl and her younger brother Yuuta on their way to the supermarket and asks if they can take care of it, to which they agree. But when Natsuru arrives at their home, he is shocked to discover that the siblings have been living alone in a dirty house, a secret which Rio absolutely wants to keep. As Natsuru spends more time with them, their circumstances and reason for secrecy are slowly brought to light.

One of the short stories of all time,this shit had me thinking if there really is a God further more the fact that we lie to ourselves evrytime we blame God and that act is the reason in we as a species came up with the idea of there being a God in the first place.
I believe that the situations witch occurred drived the overall message of the story effectively and that the art style was fitting for the nature of said message and the charics aswell
though to be honest the overall massage was more interesting than the story itself.

I loved this Manga. It had an amazing story. Also Rio & her little brother's dad is 💩🗑️... Natsu is actually a really nice kid (most kids nowadays once they found out about Rio and her brother's situation would have abandoned them for fear of being bullied and even bullied them too) but his mom is really checked out too (lowkey was kinda confused as it seemed she was like his sister)

While both their stories are incredibly sad. They kinda complete each other's missing pieces. If I had to ask for a 2nd manga I'd like an update on their lives along with the cat.

This is another one of those short, sweet, romantic stories with a sombering tone throughout its tale. Reminiscent of other manga such as "Watashi-tachi" or "Three Days of Happiness." However, instead of following a story where two characters are in incredibly unique positions, we follow a more realistic/grounded story dealing with the hardships of a dysfunctional family.

I enjoyed the fact that it was extremely short and did not drag like other works I've read, which is always a plus. If you're looking for a short, sweet read because, hey, there's nothing else to do - you should give it a try. Don't expect ...
