Synopsis

Maeda is a new student in the Teiken High School. He stutters when he's nervous and he's rather clumsy. He gets noted immediately because he hits a teacher during the entrance ceremony. Some clubs search to enlist him as they see in him a force they can use to get even with other clubs. But Maeda is a loner and has only one dream: becoming boxing champion. His first objective is to beat the leader of the boxing club. "Rokudenashi" translates as "good for nothing". (Source: Mangaupdates)

Review of “Rokudenashi Blues” (So far)

While searching about looking for a good delinquent series, i stumbled upon Rokudenashi Blues. (Good for nothing blues)
Within a week i had caught up with it, i was completely hooked from the first chapter.
I found this series was a fresh breeze from the usual overpowered, effeminate protagonist fighting off a never ending flow of enemies bent on wanting to destroy the earth. This was about high school delinquents being high school delinquents, with a bit of boxing on the side.
The fight scenes were great, they were really well detailed and there were plenty of them too, and none of that ...

My quick Rokudenashi Blues review

As of 1st of August 2021. there are 293 translated chapters (it's still being scanlated)

If you are into 90s anime, delinquents, fighting and comedy, you are in for a treat.I started this series because it's supposed to be a boxing manga, but classic delinquent fights and comedy take the most of the story (so far, since it's still being translated)
The fights we do get to see are top tear and believe it or not,I think Maeda is probably one of the strongest delinquents in all of manga/anime.
One of the best thing about this manga are thecharacters; Maeda is,in my opinion, very well written character, and the other ones ...
