Unrequited love, a group of friends, mixed cast, good character/relationship development, solid art. Hachimitsu is a more mature version of Seiho.

Both have the male cast as the main characters instead of the women, showing their perspective in falling in love. Both show strong friendship between the four male characters respectively.

Both series are hilarious and set in an all boys high school. There are many funny scenarios about the characters being awkward with females, joking around with friends, and silly interactions with other people. Seiho has a more linear plot and has some drama but still has the comedy, friendship, and happy feel of Daily Lives!

It is also a shoujo with male main characters set in an all boys school and is also a slice of life story about their school life. Seiho is more comical while Seishun Kouryakuhon is more sentimental and nostalgic. However the synopsis of Seiho does it a disservice because it has a lot more depth to it than the synopsis would suggest, so it does have friendship and a slice of life and the characters are much deeper than what the write up for it suggests. So if you like one of these please give the other  read more

Art and style were similar enough that I thought they were by the same mangaka. Both are school life slice-of-life dramas, with comedy and tragedy and everyday life events. Focus on several students, rather than just one or two. The events are fairly realistic, instead of the idealized happenings usually see in the school life shoujo genre. Events are seen mostly through the eyes of male students. Don't focus that much on romance, though there is a noticeable amount of sexual dialog.

Shoujos set in all boys high schools with a male mc. Seiho ( also known as Men's Kou ) also has a character who is in love with the school nurse.

These manga are basically twins, as their premise is identical: Hatsukoi speaks about various girls' love stories, and Seiho focuses on how boys fall in love. Each chapter is focused on one student, and both series involve sisters who have a brother complex and brothers with a sister complex. Both are highly enjoyable, well-written and realistic school comedies.
