For the record, This isn't meant to be a serious portrayal of the life of Rock Lee. Its a gag manga, one should not begin reading expecting to see Rock Lee kick ass.
Contrary to most opinions I've read, I find this manga incredibly hilarious. Everything that makes Rock Lee great: His determination, willpower, quirky personality, perverted tendencies, are on full display in this series. Unlike Shuppuden where side characters take a backseat to Naruto & Sasuke, in this manga you will see more appearances from characters you may favor. I really don't mind Rock Lee or anything, but this series... it's just no, just no. I couldn't even get past the 3rd chapter (didn't bother more accurately). Rock Lee, like Gai, is only good in doses in my opinion, which is why I never had a problem with Lee before or Gai-sensei. This series is just terrible and kind of disturbing (oh my poor eyes). For those who like this series, no offense, it's just how I and a few of my friends believe. yes, please think that I am crazy for hating this series. Love Lee, but not a huge fan of this
