The story is sweeter than any chocolate or ice cream you’ve ever had. Every so often, your heart will stop from the pure adorableness of the manga. I recommend you don’t try to read it one go or you may very well die from a moe heart attack. ... There isn’t a single chapter, that won’t put a smile on your face. You get pouts, sparkling eyes, and sometimes they talk like tis to mwake swure you wunderstand how cute thwey are. Despite the fact that you’re reading it in your voice, you just can’t help but hnnngggggg.

Do not underestimate the power of love between 5 year olds, their parents, older siblings, and one another. There will be times when your eyes cry rivers. Be it tears of joy or tears of sadness. Prepare a box of tissues beforehand and don’t waste all your tissues during the conflicts. You need to save some for the absolutely heart-warming tear-jerking moments when the problem is resolved.

Not all of the cute moments revolve around the kids. There is plenty of high school romance and comedy. Our main female lead is a tsundere, so it is hard not to smile when she turns dere. As for our main protagonist, he is naive & innocent. Dense leads are never fun, well except for this guy. He’s the embodiment of caring and brother-like, so his ignorance of love will only make him better as the person everyone loves.

The jokes never fail to make laugh. The comedy comes from the characters’ personalities. It’s not the type of comedy where ridiculous and out of this world stuff happens. The jokes happen, because the characters are who they are. For example, one of the characters solves his problems through violence. No matter who it is, he’ll chop them on the head. It may seem sad, but it’s actually quite funny. We also got a super butler, secretary, ninja...? who sometimes appears out of thin air. The way the characters act on a day to day basis is what creates jokes and funny ones at that.

The art isn’t amazing, but you don’t need the skill of Michael Angelo to make cute children. Just make them a little chubby, give them some big eyes, a flushed red cheek and voila, you got yourself an angel. Again, the art isn’t stunning and dazzling, but it’s definitely pleasing to the eyes.

The characters are all great. It almost feels like the cast is just one big family. There isn’t a single character I don’t like. Their interactions with one another are simply amusing and delightful to see.

Are you perhaps depressed, grief stricken, or just looking for something nice to read? Well, I got good news for you. There’s a manga known as Gakuen Babysitters. On a cuteness scale from 1 to 10, it’d be well over 9000. If this manga can’t brighten up your day, then I don’t know what can.

This manga is filled with laughs and 'aww' making moments. Every time you see the little kids have fun adventures with everybody at the Babysitting Club, you just want to jump in there and go along with the ride.
You will NOT regret reading it.
Cute toddlers, good-looking teenagers that are affiliated with them, and the heartwarming stories are a must-have.

There is just something quite compelling about this manga.I cant quite put my finger on it why that's true ,but it draws you in and leaves you wanting more.

The story is a pretty basic one , of two orphaned brothers and how the older one is roped in to be in charge of the ' baby sitting creche' in his free hours in exchange for food, board & schooling. It deals with his experiences and the ... experiences of unique group children and characters .There however lies its strength and biggest impact.

so if your looking for a really feel good read , you couldn't ask for a better manga.

In short: this is a HAPPY manga. It's cute, funny and has its own little surprises. It's got a simple, slice-of-life storyline that shows everyday happenings and gags. The overall plot is a bit sketchy and yet still to the point. A positive point is the background of the characters; their story is quickly summarized and immediately the adventures begin. But little tidbits are given as the story continues. The story is centred around the little toddlers but includes the protagonist's school life and other events to switch things up. Hints of other genres so far include parodies and romance, but nothing too distracting.

The ... main characters' personalities match each other perfectly. The older brother may be a little soft and too loving, but it's it's the responsibility and care that he's picked up from being the firstborn. Earlier on, I was concerned about him making friends with such character..I thought he might get bullied! Thankfully, nothing like that ever happened - he's adorable. And aloof. But it's funny. The younger is obviously carefree, but he's also cooperative and understands his big brother. They make a great pair and their good relationship is evident throughout the story.

The toddler attitude is portrayed pretty well, and each have their own personalities. This could be just me, but I find that it comes out a little too strong sometimes. These guys are just 3-4 aren't they? At some points they seem to act more like kids than toddlers (the things they do;;).

ART! Such a story is more likely towards a shoujo audience; everything is appealing. The cute toddlers, diverse students, young parents, even the comedic obaa-chan and butler pair are very well drawn. I am satisfied.

I guess I'll rewrite/add to this once the manga's over. I really like it! But I could just be overreacting.

Gakuen Babysitters is a really soothing manga. It's simple, sweet, and extremely cute. You might want to enjoy this whenever you're depressed on how harsh life is.

Story - It doesn't have much of a plot, but surprisingly, this is what makes this manga enjoyable. The story is really light, you wouldn't feel depressed while waiting for the next book to come out. But still, it has some cute and touching moments as well.

Art - F*ck, the art is too cute. Dem babies. I nosebleed a lot while reading this.

Character - What should I say about the characters? I mean 60% of the ... characters are babies. But they are all so cute I want to take them home.

Enjoyment - This is no serious manga. This is the type of manga you might enjoy while chilling down. Beware tho, some of the cute scenes might be dangerous for your heart.

Overall... well what can I say? This manga is adorable, that's it.

when i first started gakuen babysitters i decided this would be the first manga i write a review on. i don't think any other stories moved me this much like this story did, and i have read a lot of stories. its beautiful and absolutely heart-warming. if you skip this you will absolutely regret it, and you won't even know. sheesh.

the story, oh the story! it's filled with babies. everything about babies. babies everywhere! okay first of all, if you like babies, this is THE manga for you. imagine baby beel(for those of you who don't know, baby beel is from beelzebub). then imagine A ... LOT of baby beel! except for the electric shock. haha XD

it starts with two brothers who lost their parents on an accident. the principal, being the kind woman she is, takes them in. don't be scared of her face, she is actually very nice. anyway, she takes them in, and their lives start. their journey is new, fresh and scary. but it's also pretty enjoyable. they meet new people. they have fun. that's how it goes.

the thing that really sparked in me is how much i cried reading this manga. i cried out of happiness. i cried out of sorrow. i cried and cried. i don't think no other manga was ever able to move me this much. so people, read it. it will actually make you feel better.

If you've ever read and enjoyed works like "Yotsuba&!", "Barakamon", "Usagi Drop" and "Azumanga Daioh", you'll probably love this series too!

The manga follows two brothers; the older brother, Ryuuichi, who's an high school student and his younger brother, Koutarou, who is a toddler.
Due to a tragic event, Ryuuichi and Koutarou lose their parents, but they're taken in by a gruff older lady lovingly called "Obaa-san" (grandmother) and her butler, Saikawa.
Ryuuichi has to work in the "babysitting club", a club where teachers from the school drop off their children, as exchange for living with and studying in Obaa-san's house/school and the manga follows the adventures ... started in this club.

The story is very simple, but does it's job extremely well. Every chapter is very cute and has episodic stories with reoccurring side characters, references to previous jokes and running gags, etc. etc.
You'll find yourself satisfied with each chapter as they're all very fleshed out and leaves a sense of "ah, that was a good story" every time you complete one.

The art is cute and simple, it fits the story of the tone well with it's shoujo manga-esque art style, round toddler faces and exaggerated (to a natural extend) expressions. All the characters are easy to distinguish and identify from one another.

All the characters has a good and a bad side, which makes them seem all the more real. The main character, Ryuuichi, is a hardworking guy who loves his brother, but can also be extremely dense and an airhead, which sometimes causes him trouble as well.
All the children are written realistically to the extend that they're believeable, but you won't get annoyed by their irrational antics, fights, etc. as the characters and their "motivations" are often easily understood and related to.
All the side characters are great too and aren't just dismissed randomly after a few chapters. Even the characters who only show up once in a blue moon go through character development of some sorts, or at least get some kinda of backstory to understand them better.

Overall this is a great slice of life manga with a great cast, cute story/stories, a warm atmosphere and it leaves you with a sense of belonging and familial love.

I LOVE THIS MANGA!! It makes me really sad it took 8 years for it to come this far.. (82 chapters, but chapter 81 is missing..) This manga is so adorably cute it makes you not want to put it down! It also makes you wish you had such a well behaved toddler!

The main characters have a tragic back story but how they overcome that with the help of a stranger makes it even more addicting! They become a family with each other and seeing the progress they make makes you want to cheer them on!

The main character Ryuu-chan being popular but doesn't ... really realize it because of his personality is kind of overdone, but his natural airheadedness to this and him prioritizing his brother makes you think "WOW, I wish I could have a guy like that"

The side characters and the mom's of the kids are also very fun and playful! If you loved Love so Life (which I did!) then you will LOVE this! The stories are very similar and both heartwarming! I hope everyone loves this as much as I do AND I REALLY HOPE THE UPDATE MORE OFTEN BECAUSE I DONT WANT TO WAIT 10 YEARS FOR AN ENDING!

I wasn't quite sure on reading this. I thought to myself, it's just a manga about babysitting kids. But it's so much more than that.

Story: 8/10
Each chapter seems to focus on a different thing going on with the babysitting club. Yet each chapter focuses on resolving something. The main plot is just about a kid who was suddenly taken in by a lady and he has to take care of a bunch of preschoolers.
There seems to be more of a deeper plot going on, but I still haven't quite figured it out. I think it's something of learning how to move on from ... losing someone. But that's just my take on it.
This story is really heartwarming though, and chapter 30 had me crying.

I really like the artwork in this! The way the kids are drawn is just super adorable and the way that the main character is drawn makes him cute! aha

Character: 10/10
Let's start with the Oba-san, she is actually my favorite character in the whole story. She puts up a front in which it seems like she doesn't really really care and that she's going to be bothered by Ryuuichi and Kotarou, but in reality she just doesn't want to show attachment. This makes her my favorite becakse she's trying so hard.
I love Ryuuichi! I think it's so cute how much he cares for his brother. Although I wish he wasn't so dense when it came to girls. LOL but he's a great character.
The other characters in the story make it funny! Like Inomata and Kamitani, they just add to the story and their little actions make the story funnier!

I feel like there should be more to the plot. It's just missing something. But overall I really like reading it. I'm going to be so sad when I finally catch up in it >~< ugh.
So I really recommend this to anyone who wants to read a cute, heartwarming story.

There's something comforting about this manga.

At the surface, it may seem that this manga would be only full of fluffiness and rainbows since it is a story full of incredibly cute moments (so sweet you'll get cavities). But, the underlining story is one that is quite deep and at times sad (But don't worry, every chapter ends happily). The story begins with the main characters losing both of their parents and starting to live in a new home with the chairman (Bear with me. Its a happy manga, I promise!).

But what I find comforting about this manga is that despite all these struggles, ... Ryuuichi and Kotarou can live happily. Ryuuichi tries is very best to make sure his little brother is the happiest he can possibly be.

Gakuen Babysitters is so heart warming. It highlights the bonds between family and friends. I can honestly say that I liked every character in this manga and I'm sure you will too.

It is a cute, light and somewhat unique proposal. One of the best shoujo focusing on non-romantic relationships I've read. Great for reading and relaxing at the end of the day; give a few easy laughs, with easy-to-understand jokes that anyone could understand and enjoy.

Not to mention the clear message about love in the family, protection, kindness, emphasizing the innocence and purity of children, but without turning them into "perfect Dickensian children", because children are children, in the end, they make a lot more mistakes than adults , because they have almost nothing in life experience, emotional development, are sensitive to small things and ... create drama. And that's exactly how they should be, the work makes that clear, just as a sometimes rebellious and dramatic attitude doesn't cancel out a good heart, and the ability to redeem and grow. Because in the end, that's what growing up is all about, not the search for perfect adults, trying to mold perfect children who repress themselves, but adults who know how to express feelings, from the best to the worst.

The manga has a wholesome air of growth and companionship, from the youngest to the oldest, and it's enjoyable because it's subtle, natural, demonstrating the author's tact when maneuvering the script's tone.
