This manga had some potential, but it continues to fall short of every satisfying development due to its one-dimensional nature. For some props, this manga is original enough to combine the mystery/detective premise with romance, but it’s incredibly forced/not well-written.
The story fails to incorporate both romance and mystery into the plot line without making one feel left out — this wasn’t an issue in the beginning because it was quite cute with a few laughs here and there by incorporating the mc’s reaction towards the fmc, but it quickly devolves into a mess.

the “mystery,” and I’ll be honest, the mystery kind of sucks. The plot heavily relies on the fact that, besides for the fmc, everyone is incompetent and stupid — there are some elaborate plans by the villains, but holy, if I didn’t know better, this manga might as well be propaganda on how the police are incompetent.
I’ll get straight to the point: every mystery literally has the same sequence of events: The mc and fmc are chilling, some tragedy or suspicious activity happens, the fmc lights up her eyes, and bam, there’s a back and forth with people doubting the mc or fmc until it’s solved in a boring way. Yes, it’s a “ha, gotcha” moment, kind of like scooby-doo, which doesn’t allow for the best mystery story, and because the romance isn’t ever emphasized of developed, that part of the story isn’t saving this mess of a plot.
There are, of course, some cute and funny interactions with the fmc being mute and drawing random/dumb things with the mc’s reaction to that, but besides for that, the manga doesn’t have a lot going for itself due to it falling short in mystery and romance.
…also, can’t the fmc just write out who the culprit is or how she figured it out instead of badly drawing the scene? I get it, it’s cute, but it’s a huge plot hole.
