Mangas that are full of misunderstandings. Mangas with stupid characters. Mangas with a plot that can be solved if the characters just have one conversation. What do these all have in common? Well, they are all apart of a fractional plan of a dumpster fire. But what if, a manga decides to incorporate all of said dumpster fire attributes? You get this. This absolute train wreck of plot and characters that somehow becomes so interesting due to the lack of writing ability from the author and his refusal to further elaborate on the mystery.
I guess a title that translates into “His Girlfriend” wouldn’t have

the best or morally upright characters, but this is just terrible. However, it’s terrible in a good way — the author attempts to make meaningful characters with deep lore and backstory, but it sort of ends up backfiring due to him constantly reimbursing new arcs and drama while trying to complete or forget about his previous plot points. Either way, the characters can be summarized with one word: stupid. Like all cliches, they take the most roundabout way of communication and misunderstanding, yet, it’s also a small blessing due to the manga’s continuous management of engagement from its absurd developments and mystery.
Yes, the plot is sort of sporadic with its events and introductions, but it does not lack one boring moment. Instead of the usual yawn-fest of boring, cliche developments, the manga employs all of the “messed up” cliches that any competent mangaka will avoid due to how low the return is for the risk. Due to this, each chapter is just exciting — sometimes, it is predictable, sometimes it takes a twist, sometimes things don’t make sense, however, that’s just the charm this manga brings.
“I can’t look away now.”
“I’ve already gotten this far.”
“Why do I actually like this?”
A manga that goes against all moral and logical standards of enjoyment; a manga that makes you crave for more because of how bad it is; this is that manga. This is an absolute dumpster fire, yet, I can’t take my eyes off of it. I will be seeing this til the end, whether it ends with a ship that has sailed with a couple or a ship that has a heroine and only part of the main character.

As of chapter 43, I’m calling it quits. If you hate yourself, people, etc. and for some reason want to suffer then look no further. I couldn’t take it anymore; continue onward, soldier.
