One of the best series I've read in a while, usually I like fantasy series similar to solo leveling and That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime, but this subverted all my expectations and was definitely a 10/10.

The first 9 chapters of the series are rather mediocre, but once you start to get through that it gets crazy good. I would highly recommend this to anyone and everyone, especially people who like power fantasies where the man character is completely over powered. It is a rather short read although it isn't finished, if you have the time for it, I would highly recommend ... reading this. If you don't have the time, you should make some because this is one of the best series out right now.

This manhwa first started with a cliche but overturn it for a more ambitious narrative but fails to deliver as it got overly complicated for not much depth.

At first, the work introduce you to a dramatic settings of our protagonist facing the Korean army and he is a "threat" his own "existence".
The work let you think you are in a typical power trip manhwa with the protagonist on a killing spree.
You are also told he has the power to manipulate living beings in the summary with the will to annihilate humanity for their wrong doings and damaging mother nature.
Which is a fantastic plot and premise. ... We as humanity are the tumor of the planet, destroying all and harming all.

Without spoiling anything, that whole premise is flipped over as the author struggle to keep a proper structure on his story-telling. Things went out of control and we are left with a typical open end. Which usually signifies that the author had no idea how to reach a proper conclusion and defer to just leave it open to interpretation to not further disappoint his viewers. The positive is the work is only 72 chapters long which means you can go through it in 1 day of reading without having the feeling that it was dragging it's feet.

Overall, ambitious work with nice themes that never seen the full potential and got very rushed for a mediocre pay-off.
The art is really good, the coloring is not too flat and the emotions are impactful. But the story-telling isn't part of it. Could been a masterpiece if he took a break and re-organized his thoughts.

MC is OP from the start but doesn't know the extent of his powers, although it doesn't seem to matter because it's always enough.

Characters act in nonsense ways that will annoy the reader in an attempt by the writer to show how cruel the world is

Very pretentious writing, goes for a serious, philosophical tone however a lot of premises behind the MC's philosophies are straight up wrong and don't make any sense given the knowledge he has. The problem with stories featuring genius, all-knowing characters is that the author obviously doesn't have those capabilities, so it's hard to write a character with those traits that's ... believable, and the more they monologue, the more holes you can pick apart and it breaks the illusion of the story.

It's very different from all the other power fantasy stories so if you like the idea but never liked other stories' more lighthearted tones with RPG settings, you might like this more but I feel that it misses the mark completely for the OP MC theme.
