This story paint characters as black and white based on their power.
But as we all know, nothing is purely black and white which we will follow with Cassian who was on the justice side and got his memories transferred to another person upon dying.
Currently, so far villains are not the greatest in terms of world building and plot. As unlike the title of the work there is no real killing happening. Everything is quite family friendly in essence as the violence is tone down with the plot and stakes being very low.

develop with something bigger in the whole picture but as of chapter 135 we have yet to touch that plot again. Following the typical training arc, tournament/competition and character acting arrogant with little backing to their arrogance. Like a chinese work: You dare?! and get steam-rolled.
We have yet to to get to the meat of the subject and the author is constantly side stepping the main plot with side event, I honestly feel like at chapter 200 we might get to start the story at the current pace we are going at.
The power scaling and growth is slow as there is no power trip fantasy. Which is good in a way, since it prevent characters from being excessively strong without good justification.
Romance? No, typical dense and not interested character.
Side character? They don't really contribute to the story or the MC. They don't feel crucial to the plot.
Plot? What plot, get side event. Forgettable at best.
Art? Solid good art, with nice sequence of action that feel impactful and with good tension.
Overall, if you want a story with no real sense of direction but decent side characters and will keep you entertained weekly, this one is a decent read but nothing stunning. As of now, I am bored of the plot and wonder when things are actually going to start moving.
It's like eating your favorite food daily to the point it now taste bland and nothing is changing.

This manhwa first started with a cliche but overturn it for a more ambitious narrative but fails to deliver as it got overly complicated for not much depth.
At first, the work introduce you to a dramatic settings of our protagonist facing the Korean army and he is a "threat" his own "existence".
The work let you think you are in a typical power trip manhwa with the protagonist on a killing spree.
You are also told he has the power to manipulate living beings in the summary with the will to annihilate humanity for their wrong doings and damaging mother nature.
Which is a fantastic plot and premise.

We as humanity are the tumor of the planet, destroying all and harming all.
Without spoiling anything, that whole premise is flipped over as the author struggle to keep a proper structure on his story-telling. Things went out of control and we are left with a typical open end. Which usually signifies that the author had no idea how to reach a proper conclusion and defer to just leave it open to interpretation to not further disappoint his viewers. The positive is the work is only 72 chapters long which means you can go through it in 1 day of reading without having the feeling that it was dragging it's feet.
Overall, ambitious work with nice themes that never seen the full potential and got very rushed for a mediocre pay-off.
The art is really good, the coloring is not too flat and the emotions are impactful. But the story-telling isn't part of it. Could been a masterpiece if he took a break and re-organized his thoughts.

This work goes with the full body gaming gear immersion concept.
Your whole conscience and sense are sent in the game and you live a pseudo real new life in this game universe.
Kou Mitsuki who goes with the nickname of Headhunting Crim is your typical veteran pro gamer in PVP and guild wars.
Initially we are introduce to the new gear and game system named Duo who will be the universe in which our protagonist will be sent in.
He will be stuck in this world for 3 months as his father removed the logout function from him. Which leaves a few issues that are really not answered.

How does this device prevent muscle atrophy, food, hydration, body waste and other are not explained or explore. Just he is stuck in this and he will have to live in this game.
He get a bug and get the wrong avatar selection choice, become a female player. He is also sent way further then he should be from the beginner village.
Having switched gender has no real impact to our protagonist who isn't really phased by that. Which is later hinted that something isn't all it seems.
Chapter 5 will leave you a hint that he might not be a he. He is also hiding a trauma that isn't well explained.
Chapter 41 gets a minor twist of sword art online with a master AI as a game director with a motive and a time limit.
But as of chapter 44 it has yet to be developed and explained.
A lot of potential currently thus why I rate it at a solid 7 for now.
The flow, the world building and art is solid but I would say that if the author doesn't give answers soon the whole narrative can fall off and as the story way of progressing is very slow paced and it's just becoming a boring cliche path of the compulsory tournament arc and then guild base building. I like concept of mysteries but the fact it is dragging itself more then it explains or resolve anything can become a frustration. For now, enjoy the ride and let see if we discover an underlying dark truth.

This one is confusing. Nothing from the beginning to the current latest chapter makes sense.
It would qualify as soft-porn with wish fulfillment and another world to justify all fantasy and fetish.
Richii sister one day gets transported into another world and disappear for a while until Richii himself gets transported into that world too.
His sister suddenly change race yet he somehow instantly recognized her. This is never really addressed and my suspicion is just to allow the author to bring the incest theme without causing too much issue since she isn't human anymore.
Add to Richii skills a power to get into a "contract" with others with

a bond of love that allows him to unlock his partner more skills.
He instantly put into heat his sister teammate into "heat" and get to do some "massage".
If you don't mind a work in which you just need to have 1 brain cell at works, logic being thrown outside and common sense or morality isn't on. Then this might be for you.
I forgot to add that Richii is a "shota" that could help you like him more.
Honestly the art is good but when you know that the author like this kind of plot I do feel it's a bit of a waste.
Enjoy it for what it is worth for or not.

Imagine you are deemed as a prodigy and people fails to see your talent despite having clearly witness his skills.
It's like the world build around Aix has lowered their standard and IQ to sub-average where both of them don't have common sense.
He get burn-out and decided to not "work" again but realized the reality that ones needs to make a living.
It has only been in the late chapter that you will get some backstory of the main character which is a shame to bring that so late.
As it is painting him in a pathetic way and you feel sorry for him but realized that it

was due to his own stupidity that brought those consequences.
There is no shortcut in life, if one will try to take a shortcut you will get to pay an appropriate price at one point. This is the conclusion that show you the author later on.
The story suffer from the classic trope of: slow life without any major plot and motivation. Like where does the story intent to go? The antagonist and protagonist are both boring for their own lack of ambitious or weak ambition.
I give it a 6 for when you are bored and need something to just waste your time. It isn't an awful work per say just not very interesting.

Housekeeper is mixing multiple themes that could work if they were grounded with a certain logic. But it threw all it through the window to create a mixed genre that has a confusing identity.
Navil being a human and Hasty being the housekeeper android must protect him from the government evil plot of eradicating all "zombies".
For that, we are mixing medical, politics and technology concepts. It could work greatly, the first dozen of chapters are an introduction to the universe and the world logic on what can they do or not. But later on it will be discarded and go full fantasy non-sense.

from the main hero syndrome of not wanting to remove a problem by using violence as it is above them. Yet will suffer from those constant nonsensical choices at the cost of many.
The train dilemma of choosing who to save. Yet they want to save all to end with all dead as a bad joke.
Without spoiling anything, we have reached chinese level of wuxia/xianxia storytelling quality. Which means power levels and scaling makes no sense anymore and all goes at this point since the science makes no sense.
If only it had a bit of logic like Mahouka, Toaru Majutsu or many other works.
I can only rate it as an average work with great idea and concept initially but fell off as the author got very ambitious and lost track of the story.
At this point I am just confused with where does he even intend to go with that new arc as nothing makes sense.

Mahou Shoujo Tokushusen Asuka started with a strong synopsis. Taking a new direction into the magical girl genre with a new dark theme, mixing more realistic idea of the magical girl trope.
They actually train to stay fit, yes they do get stronger then an average human but their skills, training, mental and decision affect the outcome on the first part of the story. No magical plot convenience to justify poor writing flaws.
The mascot fairy does actually contribute to the whole story in a meaningful way which is nice that it's not a merchandise and fan service character that lacks any other purpose.
You are introduce to

a solid cast with a good backstory that is explained quite early to get you attach to them or understand their motives. Side characters do contribute to the story and are more helpful then some other works.
The art is clean, nice big contrast, good emotions and consistent all the way.
Now let's address the elephant in the room, the story towards it's later half feels rushed. Very poorly developed and all the good writing at the beginning start to fall off. A lot of the power scaling start to go off the chart and make no more sense.
The antagonist logic and motivation seems completely far fetched and nonsensical.
Thus my reason to not recommend it at 100% certainty this work for others to read. You might love the beginning and hate the end.
The author seemed to be in conflict to end the story on a bad note thus resorted to leave it more open and positive with more question then answers. That creates a whole issue of undoing any tension and feeling unsatisfied with such odd choice.
A bit of certain explanation and character choices feels very convenient and lack depth to it. Approach this series with this pinch of salt.

Undead unluck has more to offer then what it seems. It's a roller coaster of emotions both positive and negative.
Suffering from some typical tropes and cliche it makes up with a good solid cast and growing character.
At first, the story seemed to be simple and felt it would not pick up the pacing for long. Purposefully dragging some elements but it allows the author to introduce us to the whole cast of character that a absolutely necessary for the plot to move on later on.
You might feel like dropping it on the first 60 chapters with the lack of growth from our main protagonist being
...
Fuuko.
But fear not, like Naruto and a lot of shounen you will be surprised by the growth of the character in terms of personality, resolution and motivation. No character grow instantly when exposed to such weird and supernatural circumstances.
I rate the side character and main character a solid 8/10. I did remove a few points for how "optimist" and how forgiving they can be but I did grow liking them.
The plot is yet to be fully explained and we have yet to see where we are going. We never know with those authors. They can suddenly flip the plot upside down. You can pull so many references: Blood Vlad, tsugumomo, naruto, HunterXhunter, One Piece, Rosario Vampire second arc and many more.
The art still and direction feels heavily inspired by many other works. With over the top exaggerated action and humor.
The ecchi part of the manga is barely noticeable. It's more a comedy relief then the male or female protagonist craving for some skin contact. No naruto bleeding nose or weird groping that feels motivated by lust. There is groping, but it's more to allow Fuuko to activate her power.
The theme of life and death remains vague, there is death. But a lot of it is motivated by a reason which is later explained and discovered.
Without spoiling at all, I recommend it as the later arc gets absolutely more depth and entertaining. You can feel the author growing and improving his story telling and consolidating the plot. Moving away from the typical shounen formula that plague some other works.
Enjoy this rodeo as it is an absolute fun ride.

This show is a prime example of poor story telling and waste of resources.
Somehow other shows with similar concept of main protagonist thrown to a new universe: aka the world of ninjas. Managed to write a story not about him or his growth/journey.
Everything is about the side character leading the show. Yet they are not relatable or even interesting.
Sumomomo momomo and tsugu tsugumomo managed to even do a better story then this crap. They were unwilling but swallow their pride and did grow even if it had it's up and downs.
This show has none of that.
Lycoris recoil solved that issue too. By showcasing those cleaners

being trained since young age. Chisato might be a pacifist but there is a real motivation and reason for that.
This MC lacks everything that makes him an MC.
You are more interested in his mother, uncle and childhood friend then him.
Our MC has never been trained to the world of ninjas and has been doing everything except prepared to take the mantle and be the next head of the ninja village. You are shown what is nepotism and lack of common sense at play does to your society.
His mother failed to train him at all.
His childhood friend is hostile towards him and isn't really helpful a part from doing the minimum required.
The MC literally fails the ninja exams but thanks to some contact he passes.
He is also too naive and lack any resolve or will to do anything.
The plot armor and convenience will solve everything for him as he is irrelevant for the next 9 episodes. Only showcasing him at the end and making him beat the antagonist without much struggle when you consider him to be an absolute ignorant and novice. Thank you power of friendship, justice and plot armor.
The ninja theme is forgotten and replaced to a powered suit with stealth functions. Nothing really stealthy happens, they are way too noisy and flashy for ninjas.
The suit explanation is bare minimum and breaks the myth of the ninjas. Just make them wear the crysis suit and call it a day.
The whole plot has no real focus or logic. Everything is predictable and forgettable.
What a waste of time and studio money to make such a bad show. At no point I found the story pick up it's pace and be interesting.

How to start this one, it's going to be a hot take with some minor spoiler.
Although I rate the art on the higher side of a 7/10.
Sound at a nice 7.5/10
The whole plot and characters are worth nothing. A straight 0.
Trying to be overly too ambitious with a non linear story telling.
Because you can have good art and good sound but if the presentation and whole piece is just a ball of crap. No amount of polishing this turd would salvage it.
You can sprinkle some chocolate or decorate it but the nature is still of a turd.

a 12 episode show. When it should at least be 16.
The main character is neither a smart or strong character. The plot armor and convenience are what drive him. No skill, no intellect, just things conveniently comes to him.
The side characters just blindly trust him and follow him to the depth of hell for no real reason. He is a complete foreigner to them. A trust me bro situation from a stranger.
There is no depth from any side characters as we are exposed to their motivation in a completely disorganized fashion. It comes to the point most would have dropped the first 3 episodes as no character felt strong or interesting to begin with. Why would I care about the old man and his daughter at the end of the show since they decided to unveil his motivation before the final episode.
You cannot build a good side character if you just get to know him after that many episode passed. If he had growths during the show it would at least make it worth it. But here, they are just tools to drive the story.
Everything falls under how convenient the whole plot revolved around the MC.
Let's go to an abandoned building and power on the computers from the surveillance system. Where does that power come from? Magic. How come those computer work without effort and didn't get damaged or looted? Convenience.
Oups, I fell into a hole that make me seat onto a cryogenic tube. Why was it there in the first place? So many inconsistencies.
We are introduced to a seemingly important character that is Mage. A girl the MC attempts to find at all cost.
But since she is so elusive and barely explained we could care less.
The journey to find her is not one bit logical.
She might have in total less then 5% of screen time for the entire show despite being put on a pedestal.
And if we try to justify an 8 years old girl with an adult man with romantic interest. This is alarm triggering.
Thus creating an incoherent motivation for the MC.
You also don't entrust an 8 years old girl with something that could affect the whole world. It doesn't logically make any sense.
The time travelling is poorly established. Even steins gate does a better job.
The mechanics surrounding it is barely explained. Just putting a technical word to explain everything. That word could be substituted with Magic it would bare no consequences.
The antagonist are decoration to create tension but since they are as smart as team rocket or Tom from tom and jerry or as accurate as a storm trooper. They barely have any weight to them existing. It's a joke, it felt they made an antagonist for the sake of it.
The only conclusion this show has for the viewer is: pray hard enough and maybe the world will change.
I'm sorry but excuse me? If only problems could go away with a prayer.
Thus why avoid watching it. It has nothing to offer. No entertainment, no philosophical conclusion, no real cause and effect.
It could have also just been: once a upon a time there was an end.
