Made by the same author, both the main character are really empty, the side characters are all really well written, the artstyle and narrative are really great, a difference between these 2 is that The Boxer has a lot more dialogues and more wordy than The Horizon, it also not only focuses on the protagonist but there are still a lot more interesting haracters yet to come

Both MCs are trained by their masters to become stronger for the latter's own benefit, profiting of the circumstances that make them almost unable to refuse. <> End is a schemer, Yu on the other hand is empty inside and doesn't try to stop the manipulation

Man-to-man fights with lots of different people and different personalities. Some of them want to play dirty. Backstories are excellent and sad at the same time. Not for readers who're not accustomed to heavy violence. <> Weak Hero is in a school setting, The Boxer in a professional boxing setting <> Gray Yeon is a smart guy with the looks but not as strong as others physically, Yu is an emotionless guy with immensely good reflexes

Si quieres una historia con tintes serios como berserk pero mas corta y con una ambientacion distinta, The boxer es mas que recomendable. Tienen un mensaje parecido y en opinion personal The Boxer es el mejor manwa existente actualmente

Both MCs have had a terrible childhood. Cruelty is all over the place. Both are filled with loneliness. *Both are boxing manga <>Levius: mechanical parts to strengthen the body, The Boxer: none except normal boxing gear such as gloves.

It is very similar in it's nihilistic approach to martial arts and boxing. Both characters were bullied and sadistic. Both end up becoming urban legends and realizing the beauty in martial arts.

MC is made an apprentice of a trainer with lots of experience in their domain. Later revealed is that their best apprentices from before have left him due to the trainer's eccentric behavior. The MC ultimately tries to surpass these world record holders. *Both have plenty of moments in which silence is ruling above all.

If you like the boxer there is a chance will also like this manga, it's the same sport but it's more better because you see the character grow over time. In the boxer the mc he's monstrous talent from the start but in Hajime no ippo mc starts from nothing and also it's really long so it feels like you are witnessing whole like and career

They are both martial arts fighting manhwa that are realistic and interesting

A lot of differences, but at least the MC has the unrivalled ability to dodge any attack. They both have scary faces shown by the author in a way that makes them even scarier. <> Angel Densetsu's a comedy based manga, The Boxer's sports based. <> Kitano Seiichirou is actually very kind, Yu is rather cruel.

Both Teppu and The Boxer portray an unusual reversal of tired combat sports manga tropes: instead of following the journey of a talentless underdog who achieves results through hard work, they turn the formula on its head and make what would be the "last boss" character of such a manga its actual PoV protagonist. And they both find interesting ways to humanize such a protagonist such that it makes them even more nuanced and exciting than your typical "I did this a lot and became good" lead. Similarly, both works focus on character studies more so than the sporting aspects, leaving offscreen everything that doesn't  read more
