Saint Seiya is an old school Shounen Jump manga that received a recent comeback in direct sequels, prequels and spin-offs. One of the most prominent of these recent works is Saint Seiya – Lost Canvas. Lost Canvas tells the story of the previous Holy War involving Athena's saints and the army of Hades, taking place in the 18th century. The story is told on the point of view of the former Pegasus saint Tenma.

Ok, this is just ridiculius
Maybe if this was released in 1998 or something like that, maaaaaybe it would be likefull But...just ridiculous, the same cliches characters types of classic Saint Seiya, but in 2017, in other words, just...just don't work The art is ridiculous as fuck, 20 years working with mangas and is the same fucking art of Saint Seiya classic, really Kurumada? Ikki defeated golds saints, gods and then all of his experience just go to nothing and he is pratically defeated by a Gold Saint, just...ridiculous. Next Dimension, started in april 2006, is the sequel and also the official prequel to Saint Seiya, as it was designed by Masami Kurumada himself, the original author.
The story takes place immediately after Hades, retoning Seiya's death (which occurred at the end of the classic manga), changing it to a momentary "coma". Saori Kido and the other protagonists, to save his life, will travel into the past (thanks to Chronos, the primordial of time, not the king of the titans of Ep G), at the time of the previous holy war (240 years before), to destroy Hades's sword.
