These manga share some similarities: - The typical love triangle where the heroine is in love with the "1st guy" and later meets "2nd guy" (aka underdog) which is her classmate. - The hero is dark haired and is someone close to her (neighbour/teacher) and the underdog has blonde hair and has a tendency to blush a lot around the heroine. - Both leading boys are very likeable to the point you just want them to end in a happy threesome. - The main reason why these two manga are so alike is because near the end some situations between the characters are very similar. Personally (unlike the  read more

Both are about unrequited love. A cute girl who's been in love with her childhood friend for years, and when she finally manages to confess her love, he's already taken. Lots of crying and angst! Both made me cry like there's no tomorrow, and both are AWESOME.

Both have: - Complicated love polygon filled with angst. - Naive optimistic heroine & kind hearted main guy. - One of the protagonists is completely selfless and shows true altruism to the one he loves (Miyake in TnA and Ao in KnB); - The "other girl" is regarded as pretty by everyone, pitied and misunderstood and is trying to forget a past love. - A pairing that becomes a couple so one of them can forget a former lover. Both are great reads.

Both heroines are cute and optimistic and have a similar name (Nina/Ninako). In both she is in love with a boy but when she is about to confess her feelings he tells her he already has a girlfriend. Later she ends up going out with the "underdog" who really likes her and accepts to be with her in an unrequited love. Both manga are filled with angst and have a love polygon.

Both main characters don't have enough of courage to confes, because of it, the 3th person appears.

Similar plot, both girls like a guy they grew up with but he only sees them as a friend. He already has feelings for someone else so Seri and Nina have to learn to move on with their feelings.

Moe Kare!! and Tonari no Atashi are both something you don't see everyday, especially when it comes to their near ends. Throughout the series, they're predictable, though it turns into a plot twist, but there is just something that you can't explain that keeps you on reading it.

Locomoco has a similar vibe to Tonari no Atashi. Both manga are about unrequited love, and both manga have a similar plot, except the two childhood friends/neighbors are girls, and one friend ends up with the guy the main girl has already liked for a while.

Both manga revolve around school life. The art styles are also comparable. Mostly, they are similar in that the female protagonist is in love with a guy who claims to have feelings with her but at the same time is drawn to another girl.

When I think of Sprout; I am immediately reminded of Tonari no Atashi. They have the same theme, except in Sprout Miku and Souhei are both dating someone else. Both manga deal with a one-sided love that soon blossoms into a mutual one.

I guess the similar thing about these two mangas is that the lead female started off having "unrequited love" and started to develop feelings for another guy. That made it sound negative, but they're really a good read.

Both are about a girl who has been in love with her childhood friend all her life. Then she meets a altruistic kind boy who loves her and does everything to make her happy even knowing she does not love him. Both have an extremely hard love triangle. Uwasa is more smutty and sports theme, while Tonari is more drama and school life.

Both female character has unrequited love. Confesses to the guy, but gets rejected. but the guy slowly falling in love with the girl..

Even though Onani Master Kurosawa feels completely different in atmosphere and plot, both mangas follow a similar progression in romance. If you have read one of these manga, you would know how the romance deals with the main protagonist's first love interest and the ordeals that grow from there.

This has the same premise as Strobe Edge and 17. Nina and Kyousuke are good friends, but Kyousuke begins seeing someone else. Nina still remains friends with him and her feelings for him continue to grow.

- Nina's innocence is somewhat similar to Sawako. - Sawako's inability to touch her boyfriend normally reminds me of how Kyousuke tests Nina when she asked him to look at her in a romantic view. - Both give off a cute feeling. - Shoujo manga

Very similar plot and ending. The premise is basically the same, since the main characters are childhood friends.
