What happens when you take a common trope in manga and shape it to be original, could it become a masterpiece? No, however, it can become a compelling and interesting manga in contrast to other manga that do not apply this. Each chapter is hysterical, be it greatly drawn panels, or their absurd conversations, giving life to its unique characters. I love fantasy manga, although my opinion may be biased I believe this manga to be a good read for anyone familiar or an interest in fantasy tropes.
Story: 8.5
You know that feeling of being undefeatable? Definitely feels great, right? In this manga
...
our MC is taking over the family as the next lord of Baibalon, although it may sound appealing, Baibalon, is a place filled with people, such as criminals, sick people and heretics. Personally, I've always been intrigued with the themes that this particular manga has, as they tend to have an extensive world building. The manga encapsulates the essence of fantasy and comedy combined with its storytelling, although at some points the plot may be arbitrary at certain times, it's able to still knot the unconcluded ties back.
Art: 9
What’s even more appealing about this manga is the art style used to portray the world. Character designs and backgrounds are all detailed in each panel making the story visually stunning. I love the way characters are portrayed, in a way it reminds me of Bocchi the Rock, utilizing different art styles to convey different emotions in a stronger manner.
Characters: 10
Funny characters, funny interactions, the hardest thing to create in a story are the social interactions between each other. Personally, the interactions between Rize, Alicia and Irina as well as other characters are hilarious and really well balanced, a mix of original archetypes are combined to create funny interactions between the cast, although sometimes repetitive I tend to keep reading non-stop. I love the blend of personalities and themes in this manga. A mix of ecchi, comedy and fantasy fills my palette fully. Definitely no arguments in this category.
Enjoyment: 10
I started reading this manga when it had 15 chapters, however, the characters had me hooked to keep reading it. I would definitely give it a go if you’re looking for a story of fantasy, comedy and sprinkled with a bit of ecchi.
