Preliminary (170/185 chp)
If you haven't read it start reading it. Cage of Eden is by far one of the best ongoing manga today and combines some of the best genres into an beautifully put together masterpiece. Panty shots, loli, horror, tragedy, intense violence, adventure, romance, psychological, mystery, giant extinct animals, and perseverance describes what this manga is all about. Cage of Eden centers around a young teen named Akira Sengoku and his classmates who returning home from a trip to Guam. The plane he, his classmates and others are on board soon crash land on a mysterious island which is inhabited by prehistoric animals that are supposed ...

Ok i see a lot of Reviews who are going for all or nothing.
In my point of view this is just wrong. This Manga has a lot of nice Moments and also a lot of trash Moments. But lets start first with the Story.

Story:
The Story is not very new for everyone who has watched "Lost". But it is still not totally bad. The protagonist is with his class on an airplane crash. But everyone of them survived (lol rly... everyone in this plane). After that they are on an island that shouldn't exist. And on top of that there are a lot of extincted animals ...

I was hooked from the very first chapter. It had great character development and you just learn to love every one of them. It's not one of this lame apocalypse stories. I really recommend you to read it and get your one opinion.

It has a lot of mysteries which makes you want to read more and more in the hope of solving those and you find yourself reading till past midnight. Most of the mysteries were solved.

As the group of teenagers grows you hope that everyone survives and that they get along. With every new obstacle, they encounter you, you worry for the characters ...

Preliminary (21/185 chp)
Here's the situation: A girl you like has been dragged underwater by a giant alligator-whale thing. By the time you dive down there and pull it's whiskers off to save her, she's passed out from no air, her lungs are full of water, and she's got some minor bite marks since this alligator thing decided it didn't want to bite too hard. You drag her to shore. You have a decision, stop the minor bleeding, or perform CPR and try and get her breathing again. What do you do?

"Oh man, she's bleeding and she's not breathing! Should I try and stop the bleeding or ...

First when i read the synopsis i thought well why not giving it a try, remember it was 8pm. Do i started reading and forgot the time at the end it was 6am. I never thought of a manga including an interestimg point, being full of turning points, tragic elements and aswell the point of friendship ever before. This is really the first manga to reach almost the same level as One Piece.
So in the end i can only reccomend this manga to everyone cause this manga is really really really one of the best manga being unknown.
PS. If the mangaka reads this (i ...

Before I start I will make some things clear: First, I dont come from England so my english is not so good, second this is my first review (or second but I have not posted the first) and the third, this is my personal opinion, if you don't agree with it, that's fine but don't come and complain to me. If we have that clear then everything is good.

Other people who have reviewed this manga have often compared it to Highschool of the dead. I don't disagree that it's similar but I can't fully agree either. If I had to choose something to compare ...

Hmmm... as of now, I just finish reading the whole manga, and yes I totally enjoyed it...

so here is what I think...

1.) SUPER LOVE the story! the plot was beyond what I expected. It has the same excitement as just any other zombie apocalypse except in this manga they're stuck in a god-forsaken Jurassic park/back to the future theme.
2.) the character development is superb! i love how the mangaka took notice of everyone and develop them subtly and realistically.
3.) the story plot line is outstanding, its idea and concept are fresh and you will totally enjoy reading it. although it's one-dimensional, every chapter has a ...

what to say... you have a plot, summary and a finale, what more do you need? how about loads of 'fan service' (some for girls too).. this story is pact with tragic, joyful, laughable, saddening, and EPIC scenes that with keep you on the edge of you seat.. As you read, you get ideas on what may arrive next or what might occur, but ever heard the saying "Don't judge a book by its cover"or "There is more then meets the eye".. this manga will deliver it for you, the art can take you back at times but with the story line, its made a ...

Cage of Eden is a gripping story of survival, friendship, discovery, and fan service.

Story:
The narrative isn't really anything all that unique. I'd say it's in similar in nature to High-rise Invasion and Suicide Island. It's your classic people trapped in a strange environment. If you've read other reviews than you are familiar with the ending that was cut short. When I read Cage of Eden, I perceived it as very much a "It's about the journey not the destination" kind of story. In the first half of the story, it's very much a "Villain of the Week" with each volume ...
