I'm not sure that I can say this manga did anything particularly phenomenal. BUT...when I decided to read it, I was just looking for something cute, wholesome, and with relatively low text density. I basically wanted a quick, relaxing read to take a break from some of the more adventurous titles I've been getting into. And this manga did its job well for my tastes! So much so that I binged all 62 chapters. For the record, some chapters are only 4 pages long, so it really is a quick easy read.

The story is about a prim and proper rich girl and a delinquent ... boy who develop feelings for one another. We get a few flashback chapters to show us their first chance encounter, which helps us see that they didn't just fall in love randomly. There are qualities that they came to appreciate in one another. And of course, you have scenes like your mandatory beach scene (in this case river scene) and probably other tropey moments...but sometimes that's what you're looking for.

I was teetering between an 8-9 overall without overanalyzing it because I know it met the criteria for what I happened to be looking for and decided to stick with a 9 because why not? If you want a quick, cute, wholesome read...it might knock it out of the park for you too.

This is a really good romcom that I would recommend to any enjoyer of the genre. It's a lot of fluff and there is like 0 drama so if you want some spice or something then this is not for you I guess. Anyways, the series focuses on a prim and proper girl(not really but that's how ml describes here) and a delinquent boy(but not really), and they have differing interests but are both interested in each other and try to get closer to each other. Unfortunately at the start this is kind of mixed in success, but then they get closer and it's good. ... The series is very cute, and if this seems like something that would interest you I recommend it. Though if you don't like this type of manga which is probably most people then move on I guess, which is why this has like a 7/10 I suppose (its 10/10 in my heart)

Heads up, there's 30 chapters so if you're reading on a source that only says there's 19 it's sorely mistaken. (as of right now of course)

I know there is a fanbase for this but I'm not sure how big and I don't really know if it deserves a ginormous one. In essence, the main part of this manga is two people who don't know that the other loves them, a simple premise and the main thing that sets them apart is that they are complete opposites in terms of character.

The characters are one, a deliquent esque boy, the other a super prim-proper girl and in ... the end their characters unravel as they try to spark interests between the two to call for conversation. Things like watching "scary" movies to appeal to the other or renting out romance ones all while being blissfully unaware about each other's feelings.

It's pretty wholesome, in terms of deep plot depth it's really not the manga where you should be looking for that type of thing.

Anyways, I do recommend it, it's really fluffy and every now and then I'l re-read however many chapters are available if I have the time.
