Synopsis

Quickly intimidated by his frightening gaze, many people wish they could avoid any contact with Kyou Sakurai. However, one only needs to spend a little bit of time with him to realize that beneath his scary appearance lies a warm personality. He gives short pieces of advice to everyone he meets, making their day brighter. With more people being drawn to Sakurai's considerateness, his entourage starts to grow as he continues to build strong bonds with everyone around him.

I gave it a 7, but just barely, I mean if you judge it as a romance story then this is sorely lacking in further developments, I mean it ends at step 1.
But I guess this isn't really a romance manga, it's more about the MC and his way of life, it shows that you accomplish a lot with kindness and that it's a stronger motivator than any other behavior. I guess it's more of a comedy ? or maybe slice-of-life ?

This Manga has a soothing feeling to it.
Main character is a person who has the looks of yankee (gangster) but in reality has a kind heart and he always looks forward to help people around him.
There is no main storyline or such things, this manga is based on daily encounter of how the MC meets different people and help them. It is very entertaining to watch the different reaction of people who believe that they are gonna get beaten up by the MC just because he looks scary.
This is a slice of life manga and is very relaxing to read. Characters are very likable ...

I give this score solely because there is no actual story. You could argue that the developing relationships between characters is a sort of story, which I agree, but there's essentially nothing else. Each chapter is just a new event with an advice and a little relationship development. The closest to a plot we get is the uncovering of Kyou's past.

But I don't think that's necessarily bad.

Simply put, the manga's purpose isn't to present an complex overarching story. This becomes obvious when you consider that each chapter has less than 10 pages. It isn't, doesn't want to and shouldn't be complex.
