This isn't just any gag manga. This is the pinnacle of cuteness. Every chapter brings me one step closer to a type 2 diabetes diagnosis and the demon lord is the cause.

First up, the art is adorable. This is the number one selling point for this series. There's not much to be said here, because it would be faster to just look at the front cover or read a couple pages and ask youself the following: does this not embody all that is cute?

On the content side, the characters get some nice development, even if it's also as slow as your typical gag manga. As ... for the story, treat the first half as comedy and cuteness with some light character development and the second as where the actual story takes the stage. The main story is decent and I enjoyed it but I feel like it would have benefitted from sprinkling it throughout instead of pushing it all towards the end. It didn't feel rushed, but you could definitely tell the pacing had sped up to a jogging pace.

I would have liked it if this series had lasted a bit longer to reach its full potential as I really liked the way it was going. But regardless, I can still recommend this as a solid and complete work with a very precious demon lord.

Honestly, I would give this closer to a 7.70 but I'll round up.

The manga has a simple story. A guy from the human world is transported to the castle of a loli demon queen. However, they cannot communicate through tongue. It's very cute how they speak simply by each others name. We're given quick jokes, nice artwork, and adorable demon king. She's honestly so wholesome I could scREAm.

As good as I think it is, readers will probably have to go into this manga with patience. As they cannot communicate there is a lot of struggle to portray specific things. There is plenty of dialogue from ... the MC though that doesn't mean there are moments that can come off irritating.

Either way, it's short, simple, cute, and kind of generic. But it has a charm about it.

I gotta say this manga is pretty wholesome. And it has a nice premise that language barrier comes into play, which was quite amusing and different from other isekai stories out there. From the art to the storyline, everything melt my heart with their cuteness.

However, I don't want to rate this highly. Not because the story is bad or boring or anything, but the way that the author ended it was just questionable. Not sure if they were bored drawing this manga or what, but they just abruptly ended the story at chapter 32 when there were still so many things left to cover, ... many new cute plots that can be developed. Even if they wanted to end it quickly, they could have atleast made some tension plot then end it after, there it could be more impactful.

Not much to complain about, I'm just disappointed that this manga had a lot of potential if the author kept it going.
