Synopsis

It has been one month since samurai Soujirou married the charming Chiyo. Despite their marriage being prearranged by their parents—enough reason for anyone to be dissatisfied—Chiyo has been a courteous wife who handles her household affairs with ease. Bewildered by her beauty and great capabilities, Soujirou could not ask for a better partner! But there is one thing that bothers him: Chiyo forces a smile whenever he is around.

Convinced that his wife despises him, Soujirou swears to become a good husband who can make Chiyo genuinely happy. Little does he know, his wife loves him much more than he could imagine.

Just a quick review from someone who’s about to reread for the fourth time.
(1st review so I don’t know how this works)

This manga is about a wife who’s forcing herself to smile and her husband. It’s an interesting plot which seemed good but I quickly discovered that it was a hidden gem. Just thought I would make a quick review as there isn't any unless someone else posts one. Also, this contains what could be very helpful opinions and info.

"My New Wife Is Forcing Herself to Smile" honestly isn't something I would regard as monumental in the romance mix in the slightest. If anything, it is rather generic. Though that doesn't make it bad. The story is simple. It follows husband Sanjirou and wife Chiyo in their daily lives of trying to understand one another relationship-wise.
