Synopsis

In the country of Lavarta, mages are oppressed and seen as filthy beings. Leon is a talented but rather weak mage. Zechs is an orphan boy with great innate magical talent. Their meeting will change their lives as well as the world around them.

To start off, there aren't much spoilers in this review.

Have you respected a teacher so much that you often sing praises of him? Have you encountered a student so stubborn he would never do as you say? Have you a friend you can confide in and place all your trust in him or her? You can sympathise and empathise with these types of characters in this manga.

There's quite a large amount of character development and interactions and some world building, at least in my opinion. The character's personality doesn't change all that much even after a significant amount of time has passed but you ...

This is the first review on the site about this manga and I'm impressed with how few people are reading this manga, the art is incredible and of high quality, the story just gets better with each chapter and even though it only has 3 volumes and 15 chapters so far , it's been one of my favorite mangas to follow.

If you like fantasy, give this manga a chance, it approaches the theme like magic in an excellent way and the main characters have a good highlight in their personalities since they react to situations in the story realistically.

This has to be one of the most rushed series I’ve read so far in my mind. The pacing of this series moves at neck breaking speeds because the fact of the matter is that no character in this series can get at least 5-10 pages of character development. Everything in this series happens so quickly that you really wonder what the point of it all was. There is so much of this series that is left unchecked, unanswered to the point that I think that some people would have to go as far and say “this wasn’t worth reading because the author rushed it”. ...
