Despite how similar this looks to an isekai, this is in fact not one, but it wouldn't make much of a difference even if it was one. This is a story of an overpowered protagonist in a generic fantasy world. This story fills all of the requirements for a generic isekai so well that I had to go check to make sure that it wasn't. However, believe me, this isn't a good thing.
To be fair, the magic system has actual changes from the generic formula with the beginning chapter displaying the world's power system though dialogue and actions rather than a forced explanation. In fact

ACCURATE TO CHAPTER 9
I'll be honest, this manga is not good. It would be average if not for a few aspects that drag its score down to a 4, for me. The lack of consequence that comes with the existence of a book that tells you absolutely everything about the world is extremely jarring; in addition, placing said book with your basic semi-intelligent MC leaves you with a bland story full of battles that make you think "eh, he'll be fine" before a magic spell has even been cast. 4/10 The story is your generic defeat the demon lord trope, with a hint of "my former ...

Boring story writing, pathetic mc, useless side characters, world full of idiots... All of these banished from hero party mangas are like this. I wonder when someone will write a character that has a backbone and doesn't forget past events in a second. But in this manga's case its simply just worst. Don't read it and find someone different. Until the chapter where I left, every event is all similar with other ones so just imagine it in your mind for a minute and there you go, you just got summary of this manga. Don't waste your precious time on this one.
