The two aren't entirely alike, but there are a few similarities. Both star a delinquent(-ish) girl developing feelings for a relatively passive, kind boy, who is oblivious to the fact. Toramaru and Furi both have a bad record, but we see much more of Toramaru's violent side than Furi's (at least this early on in Tonari no Furi-san). Both stories are heart-meltingly cute too, so there's that.

Can't say more about these new Trend about delinquent with an innocent heart at least it was far better than Isekai theme that became a boring genre

Well, as you might know, a scary looking girl with a heart like gold is complete rare one and unique thing to read. so this one maybe suitable enough for you guys who'd come for simillar thing

Similar in the way that both female MCs have very special personalities making it difficult to deal with the male MC (Furi-san more tsundere or misunderstood shyness, kobayashi-san androphobic). Both school romances, with romance as main plot, and slow development.

Similarities: - School-setting - Romance main plot - Light hearted - Odd pairings (in Tonari no Furi-san, a misunderstood delinquent with a scaredy-cat, and in Ojojojo, an unsociable noble with a silent and mysterious dude) So far, Furi-san does not have much romance development going on though (still publishing), Ojojojo is completed.

The female and male protagonists of both series are similar in design and personality. As for the story, they both show the progression of the relationship and have cute, heartwarming moments.

Both are based on a same fundamental idea: a romance between a scary lookig/seaming girl and her classmate, tho Furi-san is a bit more melow and has more comedic moments.

Both share edgy and reserved mcs and both focus on a ya cast as well too learning about each other and becoming friends along the way.

Both have very similar dynamics and themes. They're similar in a lot of ways so if you liked one, you're probably bound to like the other. Furi-san also has Hori-san (from Horimiya) vibes. Overall, it's quite chill and slice of life-y like Komi-san. [Spoilers] . . . In both, people look up to the main girl and consider her to be a beauty, but she has a hard time making friends at first. The main guy is also quite plain, but an overall nice guy that everyone likes. Furi-san starts having feelings for Taira but he finds her intimidating and misunderstands her a lot at first.
