Tayu Tayu is a Hentai, Romantic, Comedy that starts off nicely, with a well laid out passionate setting but then the Harem aspect kicks in, resulting in some very illogical scenarios… even for a Hentai.

Just like Yamatogawa’s more popular work (Witchcraft) the story kicks off to an interesting start however this time we are taken to a normal rural setting. Reiji Tokiwa is a typical teenager who has been forced to move back to his old country home, due to some family circumstances. It is there that he meets his old childhood friends the Amane sisters, Midori & Shiho and they later rekindle their relationship, ... or something along those lines. From the very beginning this was a great h-manga with a progressive storyline, involving Reiji’s peculiar relationship with the sisters. It’s really just a shame that the story couldn’t remain at that level, but instead the story just becomes a random mess once it becomes a Harem.

This being a harem, there are of course a bunch of characters but the only ones worth mentioning are Reiji, Midori & Shiho. As mentioned before Reiji is a typical teenage boy who acts in the way a teenager tends to react in such situations, though he’s a bit of a pushover resulting in some truly absurd moments. Then there’s Midori & Shiho who are both interesting heroine’s in their own right, but are soon overshadowed by the hoard of girls the plague this manga in the latter half.

What also intrigues me about this manga is the artwork since it has Yamatogawa’s trademark art style. All great mangaka tend to leave their iconic mark in their works and Yamatogawa is no different. His great character designs having plenty of detail put into the character’s features, however there’s also a bit of inconsistency during the comedy moments.

Overall Tayu Tayu is an h-manga that managed to grab my attention, with what seemed like a fairly odd love triangle but like all good things it came to an end. The romance was handled well in some chapters and the comedy was purely from the character’s absurd reactions to some stupid moment, alas as it came to an end the story sidetracks unto randomness and eventually I lost interests by the time it finished.

Tayutayu is a harem, hentai anime with a romance theme to it, and this embarks on a boy who has returned from the city of Tokyo because his parents had to go overseas for business. He decides to make, well, a bath for only him in the open, but what he ... didn't know is it caught the attention of two of his childhood friends Shiho and Midori. What way could this possibly turn out?... Well if you said good, then you're right, but then again you're not, so yeah, mind fuck.

Story - This will be marked by the sex scenes and in overall (excluding the story, if it does have one then it's a bonus)

Story (7/10) - Well this hentai seems to start off quite well with what seemed to be rivalry for our male protagonist, but in the end that doesn't seem to be the case, in the end it was only Midori who only wanted him for herself because she loved him and by the looks of it I think he did as well, it really looked like it could be a real good hentai/romance with a nice connection to the protagonist, but yet again, hentai which doesn't fail to surprise the fuck out of me, throws that ordeal right out the window and decides to go for an all out harem and bukkake, thank you hentai, thank you very much.

Okay, so first of all her sister gets involved, okay, to be honest I don't mind that at all, threesome with just them two is perfectly fine, I'll allow that, but then out of no where a new character with no sense of realism or common logic in her appears, the girl comes out of literally no where and has sex with the male protagonist because, what was it... aahhh yes, wants to impress her boyfriend or something because they have a long distance relationship so she decides to fuck a nobody to take her virginity. Hold on a second, does that make even any sense to you? I'm not done yet, then two horny lesbians (still loved this scene) doing it together captures him and not long after fucks him so much I'm surprised they aren't pregnant already or even something worse. What's even worse is that the guy just takes the shit, ok good loads of sex and fap material, but seriously come on! Make sense or some kind of realism to it at least, I feel sorry for Midori for our douche bag of our male character who has no backbone whatsoever.

In the end it just turns in to a whole fuck fest and nothing more than that really, the whole romance side of it goes right out the window and in to the garbage bin, which was a real shame, I hate hentai for this, I really do.

With normal circumstances this would be like 4 even for a hentai, but like I said I rate it altogether with the sex scenes that you get, and well you get plenty of those. Oh yes, plenty of those awesome sex scenes that you get, at first it seemed like the guy couldn't hold it for anymore than two fucking seconds but after that it gets a. whole. lot. better. The sex with Midori is just enough to get those tissues out right now and begin you're little you know what sessions, with her adorable kinky side of her. Best scene was the swimming pool just so amazing and beautiful, while showing complete lust and love for the male protagonist, damn she should of come to me god damn it, not that douche who can't even return her feelings!

The sex with Shiho is amazing as well, I mean, don't ya just love a girl who doesn't seem to talk much but yet very kinky and doesn't give a shit what people think and has this, lets just do it here and now act to her, but god was she good in that classroom scene, she definitely went at it there and was by far the best scene of her.

Next the random girl who I am not even going to name, was the worst, she got well too over excited over everything and nothing, got jealous way too easy and she was a manipulative cow anyways, argh hate her, there just was no scene with her that I liked, I mean for most of them you forget she is even there.

Finally the two lesbian bunch and by far the most noticeable, they were, lets just say even I would fuck them, the scenes were awesome, they even looked like they knew what they're were doing and honestly was the most fun to read, just every scene with them in it was awesome. Definitely will have a lot of fapping material of them when you get started maybe more than what you can wank off. The sex scenes are great but they are still just ordinary sex scenes that you could probably find in just about any other hentai, no originality or anything so if you're looking for that, don't bother. But for whatever reason you looking for cute fucks, then this place will fill all your desires (I think).

For sex scenes, I would more a less give it a 9. Thus, overall I'll rate it, 7. It could have been so much better, and even better yet, original, but noo, because it's hentai based, it fucks that straight out the window, too bad. Hentai wise though, certainly won't be disappointing I can assure you.

Art (9/10) - Oh god, I thought the art was great. Every girl was so fricking cute and sexy and the way the art showed the lust in they're eyes and also a feeling of fulfillment whenever the male protagonist gives them a little fucky fucky.

Some 'normal' scenes were also very good as well, like the swimming pool scene and the stars when Midori takes the male protagonist to school, which was nice lovely romantic business, and that's what I really liked, well for as long as it went on for anyway.

Finally the lesbian pair was where the art was best, sex scenes wise, even I got a little jealous of the guy. They were just so fricking adorable and so lustful which was portrayed well through the art, that just made my head spin, let alone sit down and imagine scenarios a bit, hehe.

Characters (7/10) - Male protagonist who isn't very rememberable was a douche. He looked like a nice enough guy but he was simply a person of words and not action, he would say something like "I have to go and say sorry to Shiho, that I mistook her for Midori" but in the end that turns out to just be another fucking sex scene, 'with' Shiho. The guy was an ass and didn't know how to control himself and just in the end was a complete douche. Oh well, this is a hentai why am I worried about that? Well anyway he was still a douche, no exceptions.

The random girl who just came out and fucked the male protagonist was pointless and even her character felt like something that was just left to the side or was some kind of back-up. I mean, she even felt like she had to be noticed before they all forgot about her, I forgot about her after I read it, lol. Anyway, her character was insignificant, you could take her out of the whole thing and it wouldn't make much of a difference, if not any. Plus, she was a bitch enough said, I want to get onto the good bits.

Midori and Shiho were just awesome, Midori was adorable and cute while being very kinky a lustful, let alone to go with the package of being sweet and she really wanted him for herself, I honestly found that sweet and you really end up loving her character, plus she had the most connection to the male protagonist as well. Shiho was awesome as well, she didn't talk much and she didn't seemed interested apart from when she was having sex which was strange but yet arousing funny enough, I don't know I just liked her character.

The two lesbians, well... all I will say is just go to they're chapter, they will do all the explaining for me, hehe.

Enjoyment (7/10) - Enjoyment was good I suppose, in certain scenes you will find yourself bashing the table sometimes because of the stupidity of the male protagonist or going "what the fuck?" because of the random girl coming out of no where. Oh, and bashing a wall in because you're pissed the guy is such a player. So, if you can get through all that then this is very enjoyable and fun to read, especially with Midori and the lesbian girls ;).

Overall (8/10) - Very Good? Hmm, I guess you could say that for this hentai. I wouldn't if all together but that isn't what hentai is, I just love the fact that hentai fucks up on some real good possibilities and scenarios.

This will definitely fit anyone's needs but if you hate people who just says words with no real action then forget it, also if you hate a random character coming out of no where then forget this as well. If your just here to fap, good! Came to the right place. Just want a nice hentai to read, good you came to the right place. Finally, want hot sexy kinky girls/lolis then you definitely have come to the right place. I do recommend but then again I do not. There's nothing special its all normal, but you do still find yourself satisfied with the outcome.

I wonder, if that was real, would he still be alive today? Doubt it.

Esta es mi primera reseña de un manga hentai, tengo planificado escribirlas de forma esporádica cada par de meses. Y por ser la inicial, quiero dictaminar cuál es mi enfoque respecto a las mismas, porque contrario al manga tradicional donde no me limito a género ni temas, la mayoría del hentai tiene de principal objetivo el disfrute del espectador por medio del dibujo y narrativa del artista de una forma más íntima, sea porque comparten interés por la situación ... o en los fetiches específicos que tiene con su público; aceptando a la ficción por ficción y que en la lectura nos trasladamos al terreno de la fantasía, donde no correspondemos a una estructura social ni ideología, únicamente a los deseos pertenecientes a la imaginación.

Lo anterior es meramente una justificación para “me gusta lo que me gusta y leo de lo que me gusta”, soy un hombre heteresexual, lo que dictamina los mangas en mi interés de lectura y a los que realizaré reseña. Aunque subrayando, no serán frecuentes las “reseñas hentai” y por el momento, son de mangas que he leído hace bastante y considero merecen una reseña.

Aclaración: Debido a las Guidelines de Anilist no incluiré imágenes explícitas para justificar los apuntes específicos que realice en la sección de dibujo, aliento a que leas por tu cuenta para reconocer si es válida o no mi observación.

Precisamente, he decidido comenzar por una de las obras más reconocidas de Yamatogawa, uno de los primeros artistas en tener traducciones licenciadas al inglés y español en varios de sus trabajos. Y no sorprende, su trabajo es factiblemente comercializable al gran público, siendo en su mayoría antologías de parejas colegiales quienes están viviendo su primer amor o que están en la “primavera de la juventud”, aunque hay un par de “trabajos narrativos” más guiados hacia fetiches específicos (aún al alcance del gran público).

Tayu Tayu es un caso particular, puede considerarse un término medio entre ambos enfoques. La historia es sobre Reiji quien regresa durante las vacaciones de verano a su pueblo natal después de ocho años, donde se reencontrará con las hermanas Shiho y Midori, sus amigas de la infancia. En principio, da la apariencia de ser un planteamiento de triángulo amoroso y así corresponde durante los primeros capítulos, sin embargo, termina siendo un harem al ser agregadas todas las otras chicas de la escuela (lo cuál serían otras 3, la crisis del colegio rural japonés).

En principio, la historia de triángulo romántico funciona muy bien dada la efectiva caracterización de Shiho y Midori, debido a que el autor las diferencia al asignarles arquetipos completamente diferentes, Shiho es silenciosa y dominante mientras que Midori es expresiva y atrevida. Reiji como protagonista no es tan palurdo a comparación de similares, lo que no quita que sea plenamente débil ante la mínima tentación. La receta perfecta para malentendidos entre las partes, aunque teniendo una línea definida, el mutuo interés de Midori y Reiji, con una Shiho que no tiene escrúpulos en inmiscuirse.

La obra tiene un sentido del humor común en los trabajos de Yamatogawa, lo cuál aligera la severidad de la situación, además de que la cercana relación entre las hermanas daba para que la situación quedase tal como estaba con la complicidad de todos los involucrados. Y entonces las otras chicas entran al ruedo.

El mayor detrimento es la construcción del triángulo amoroso y de ahí la narrativa que tuviese hasta el momento la historia, no desaparece completamente, de hecho sigue presente en la figura de Midori como una enamorada lastimada y apartada, resuelto por el humor mencionado y que Reiji pueda ser directo y galán cuando se lo proponga. Pero queda la impresión sobre cómo podría haber sido otro trabajo más consistente de haber tenido menos elementos, en especial porque ninguna de las otras chicas la considero igual de memorable en su caracterización como las hermanas.

Eso sí, toda la situación encaja en la atmósfera nostálgica de la obra, recuerdos de un verano distante, además reforzado por diferentes apuntes durante la historia. Pero el principal contribuyente es el gran dibujo, teniendo en varios paneles dedicación a mostrar el pueblo y su característica soledad rural.

Por supuesto, la especialización del dibujo va hacia el sexo, primero debo destacar su composición porque aún cuándo hay bastantes personas, se posicionan los elementos para entender que está sucediendo a la par de centrarse en la acción más importante del momento, y de estar ocurriendo más de un encuentro a la vez, lo distribuye limpiante en la hoja para que el lector lo disfrute a plenitud.

También hay un buen diseño de personajes, empezando por las hermanas donde hace juego con sus personalidades, Midori parecida a una sociable gal y Shiho a una silenciosa belleza. El autor tiene preferencia por los pechos grandes, que destacan sea en una escena cualquiera donde se siente el “peso” en el dibujo o en los paneles dedicados a enaltecer la “acción”, en los que utiliza otros ángulos y acapara todo el panel, especial mención a su gran trabajo en la expresión facial de las chicas.

La dedicación a cada escena es otra genialidad, no va directamente a la penetración, existe el juego previo y la construcción de expectativas lo que la vuelve más vinculante y placentera, potenciado cuándo son más de dos personas en el encuentro porque sabe dividir la presentación entre lo realizan los demás y lo que sucede en la pareja principal, todo en una cuantiosa (y agradecible) cantidad de paneles.

Y es que aún fuera de las escenas sexuales, Yamatogawa tiene notable habilidad para el posicionamiento de los personajes en un diálogo natural, de construir una historia, especialmente notable en los primeros capítulos o hacia el final en el festival del pueblo. Podría saltar al “terreno mainstream” sin esfuerzo alguno (el divertido capítulo extra de la profesora lo reafirma).

Podría haber sido mejor en su enfoque nostálgico de haberse dedicado sólo al triángulo amoroso donde llegará a la misma conclusión acerca de confrontar sentimientos y expectativas, pero tampoco es bajo ningún término un desperdicio o pérdida. El dibujo de Yamatogawa es una genialidad y su sentido de la composición aseguran el pleno disfrute, y la historia es cumplidora para dejarte llevar en lo necesario.

This is my first review of a hentai manga, I plan to write them sporadically every couple of months. And for being the first, I want to dictate what is my approach to them, because contrary to traditional manga where I do not limit myself to genre or themes, most hentai has as main objective the enjoyment of the viewer through the drawing and narrative of the artist in a more intimate way, either because they share interest in the situation or in the specific fetishes they have with their audience; accepting fiction for fiction and that in reading we move to the realm of fantasy, where we do not correspond to a social structure or ideology, only to the desires belonging to the imagination.

The above is merely a justification for "I like what I like and I read what I like", I am a heteresexual man, which dictates the manga in my reading interest and which I will review. Although underlining, "hentai reviews" will not be frequent and for the moment, they are of manga that I have read quite a while ago and I consider deserve a review.

Clarification: Due to Anilist's Guidelines I will not include explicit images to justify the specific notes I made in the drawing section, I encourage you to read on your own to recognize if my observation is valid or not.

Precisely, I have decided to start with one of Yamatogawa's most recognized works, one of the first artists to have licensed translations into English and Spanish in several of his works. And not surprisingly, his work is feasibly marketable to the general public, being mostly anthologies of teenagers couples who are living their first love or who are in the "spring of youth", although there are a couple of "narrative works" more oriented towards specific fetishes (still within the reach of the general public).

Tayu Tayu is a particular case, it can be considered a middle ground between both approaches. The story is about Reiji who returns during the summer vacations to his hometown after eight years, where he will be reunited with the sisters Shiho and Midori, his childhood friends. At first, it gives the appearance of being a love triangle approach and so it corresponds during the first chapters, however, it ends up being a harem when all the other girls of the school are added (which would be another 3, the crisis of the Japanese rural school).

In principle, the romantic triangle story works very well given the effective characterization of Shiho and Midori, because the author differentiates them by assigning them completely different archetypes, Shiho is silent and dominant while Midori is expressive and daring. Reiji as a protagonist is not so redneck compared to similar ones, which does not detract from the fact that he is fully weak at the slightest temptation. The perfect recipe for misunderstandings between the parties, though having a definite line, the mutual interest of Midori and Reiji, with a Shiho who has no scruples about meddling.

The manga has a sense of humor common in Yamatogawa's works, which lightens the severity of the situation, plus the close relationship between the sisters allowed the situation to remain as it was with the complicity of all involved. And then the other girls enter to the plot.

The biggest detriment is the construction of the love triangle and hence the narrative that had so far the story, does not disappear completely, in fact it is still present in the figure of Midori as a hurt and estranged lover, resolved by the humor mentioned and that Reiji can be direct and gallant when he proposes. But the impression remains of how it could have been another more consistent work had it had fewer elements, especially since none of the other girls I consider equally memorable in their characterization as the sisters.

Of course, the whole situation fits in the nostalgic atmosphere of the work, memories of a distant summer, further reinforced by different notes during the story. But the main contributor is the great drawing, having in several panels dedication to show the village and its characteristic rural solitude.

Of course, the specialization of the drawing goes towards sex, first I must highlight its composition because even when there are many people, the elements are positioned to understand what is happening while focusing on the most important action of the moment, and if more than one encounter is happening at a time, it distributes it cleanly on the page for the reader to enjoy it to the fullest.

There is also good character design, starting with the sisters where it matches their personalities, Midori resembling a sociable gal and Shiho a silent beauty. The author has a preference for large breasts, which stand out either in any scene where you feel the "weight" in the drawing or in the panels dedicated to exalt the "action", where he uses other angles and monopolizes the entire panel, special mention to his great work in the facial expression of the girls.

The dedication to each scene is another genius, it does not go directly to the penetration, there is the foreplay and the building of expectations which makes it more binding and enjoyable, enhanced when there are more than two people in the encounter because it knows how to divide the presentation between what the others do and what happens in the main couple, all in a large (and grateful) number of panels.

And even outside of the sexual scenes, Yamatogawa has a remarkable ability to position the characters in a natural dialogue, to build a story, especially noticeable in the first chapters or towards the end at the village festival. It could jump into "mainstream territory" effortlessly (the amusing extra chapter of the teacher reaffirms this).

It could have been better in its nostalgic approach had it been devoted only to the love triangle where it will come to the same conclusion about confronting feelings and expectations, but neither is it under any terms a waste or loss. Yamatogawa's drawing is genius and his sense of composition ensures full enjoyment, and the story is accomplished enough to let you get carried away as needed.
