I'm going to straight to the point.

Story: 7/10 -
It's a kid who ruled a country because his father died unexpectedly. so you know, the story is following her ruling a SOCIALIST country. and lot of mess has been made but it's understable because "SHE. IS. A. KID" literally. that's what 9 years old do when they have control of a country.

I'm happy to see what kind of a scenario if a kid control an "authoritarian" nation.

and oh yeah, it's lighthearted.

Now, do take note my score is a little bit of a meme, but it does reflect my overall enjoyment of the manga!

Oh, Our General Myao may not be the greatest gag manga of all existence. While there are certainly many jokes that land hard, there are others that barely touch the ground (there's a creepy woman soldier in there that is... questionable). Yet, there is just something endearing about this manga that perhaps blows other political gag mangas out of the water. I have to admit that all kinds of stories related to the two First World Wars and their subsequent Cold War I enjoy like eating bread and butter, and it is not surprising that all kinds of media related to one of the most well-known eras of the modern history that presents what it was like in those times of war, espionage, authoritarian governments, conspiracies among themselves and a high international tension that sought to avoid a nuclear war as much as possible.
