Synopsis

Uru is a very short girl and is constantly mistaken for an elementary school kid, but despite that, she is ridiculously strong and decides to live by herself after her mother gets remarried. She ends up working at a small cafe with two rather unique co-workers, Shindou, who acts gruff and intimidating, but who is really a nice guy who loves to make cakes and pies and the like, and Ichirou, who is really good-looking but who instantly falls asleep when he gets hungry and doesn't wake up again until he's force-fed something? What will the future bring to them?

- This story is fairly slow. The development is slow. I'm not one to like slow plots, but 'Shiawase Kissa Sanchoume' is a definite exception. At the end of the story (82 chapters + side stories), the mangaka says so herself that the development was meant to be slow which makes me love it even more b/c she knew what she was doing.
So the plot is just the 'go with the flow' type of plot (Fairy Tail). Uru starts working at Bouheur cafe along side Nakamura Ichiro and Shindou Satsuki. Things just go with the flow from then on out. The plot is read more

I don't want to write a long review about Shiawase Kissa Sanchoume, simply for the reason that I don't need many words to describe it.
Shiawase Kissa Sanchoume is a warm and funny shoujo manga. The romance is very slow, so some readers might get impatient.
The manga has a warm and comforting atmosphere which is caused by the sympathetic characters and a humorous, heartwarming plot.
The art is very nice and fits the manga pretty well.
The characters aren't outstanding, but they don't feel like flat characters and it is hard to hate any of them.
I recommend Shiawase Kissa Sanchoume to everyone, who wants to read more

^^
i find the story fun..the love square between Uru-Shinsou-Ichirou-Sou is so cute (^^)
both shindou and uru are too slow at determining whether it's love they're feeling or
>Shindou>>Uru (little animal)
>Uru>>Shindou (big brother)..^^
-ichirou's habit of sleeping when hungry and never ever gets up 'til fed is soo funny!..^^
-uru and ichirou's wierd poses cracks up some laughter too..^^
*baa baa black sheep--pose!..^^
--the abekawa brothers also brightens the art because of their smiling faces..unlike ichirou and shindou who are expressionless..(but cute at the same time which also adds up more admirers)..^^
--so overall..OUTSTANDING!..\m/!

Shiawase Kissa 3-choume is a great weekend read. While I found the characters very likable, the pacing and conclusion could have been very off-putting depending on my mood. If you're looking for some hot shoujo romance, you may want to postpone reading this series. But if you're looking for a steady, more slice-of-life kind of feeling, then I can highly recommend it.

The main character, Uru, falls into a reverse-harem kind of situation where everyone surrounding her is captivated by her effervescent positivity. Even as the reader, I was attracted to her wide smiles, extroversion, and boundless energy. It was a read more
