If you want isekai, focused on slow developing monogamous romance, this is perfect for you. OP protagonist gets isekaied as a bad guy, doesn't care for it, and becomes romantically invested in a girl instead - to a healthy amount. Healthy as in eat your vegetables, not as in horny to hell.

Plot is really really slow, but that's the intended appeal of it. Everything changes slowly. The protagonist earns 5 cents of affection points for every chapter with the heroine in it. But you can still buy some good tasting candy, because this is the 80's or whenever and there is no inflation.

Characters shine in ... this manga, specifically the side characters. Main girl is extremely plain, and doesn't have any depth at all, but if anything its good for the story. A heroine with more personality would force more to happen and ruin the pacing. Even though the protagonist is as plain as can be too, he is nice enough. What will really keep you coming back each chapter is how each side character will develop or have some of their personality revealed, and progress in their own struggles. It is really addicting.

Art is good for characters, bad for places. No place is really memorable in any way, and they are barely even drawn. Characters look nice but it might just be the style. Their designs are really simple and not very exciting.

Action is nearly nonexistant; it's a character drama generally.

In summary, it's all about the pacing, about seeing characters develop in microincrements. They don't change that much overall, but maybe its fun and refreshing. If you like the idea of that, you would probably like this manga.

I've always had a soft side for love at first sight, love stories. In this one the mc falls in love with healer girl at first sight. The romance progress might seem slow to some, but you'll notice that she does show hints as the story goes on. Since this is a novel is centered around the romance between the two of them, you can't honestly expect her to fall in love with him in just like several chapters. To be honest, I enjoyed reading the development between the two rather than stories whereby the girls fall in love with the MC within just a ... few chapters.
Besides, it's an enjoyable read, light and fluffy love. Give it a try if you're looking for an escape from all those novels where all the girls throw themselves at the MC for no particular reason.

Ah yes, this title has been around for a while now and I have been keeping up with the updates that come sporadically.
The story follows the unique plot of an individual falling for another on the opposite side of the spectrum.
Demon lord falling for the hero, hero falling for the demon lord, those stories have been around and pop up here and there.

For this series specifically, it's not bad but the pacing is very slow. Slow to the point where the excitement and emotional investments have reached the bottom. After a certain amount of the chapters, the action/combat is reduced dramatically and focuses on the ... characters getting to know each other.

Sounds okay at first, but sadly I don't find this series interesting enough to remain committed to reading for future chapters. Peace is fine, no war is fine, but where is the urgency to stay with this series?

For some, this pacing isn't a problem as I am sure a lot of people are comfortable with it. Yet if compared with the many other series in the same similar as this, you really aren't missing anything if you choose not to read Yuusha Party.
