| Good cucumbers, that actually taste like more than just slimy water, cannot be grown industrially. This is especially applicable in countries like the UK, where the best food you can buy is laughably bad in quality (purely due to farming practices). Think of it this way: companies will have to PAY MORE and take MORE CARE with how they grow their products and... the worst part: THEY CAN'T CUT CORNERS! Oh, the horror... the terror... They'll actually have to provide a high-quality product, can you imagine the chaos? Maybe if we make everyone care about what matters most (God and the sanctity of his creation), cucumber ice cream will indeed be our future. |

| I don't know if it's a me thing, but although cucumber is, on paper, a pretty subtle flavor, I notice it immediately when it's in something. To the point where I can't focus on any other flavor. So I tend not to like cucumber in things in general. I don't even really hate it, it's just way more distracting for me than it feels like it should be. I've had something very basic, like cucumber water, and my first thought was I'd rather have regular water. |
