Hmm, well certainly in ecchi adjacent things the boys are almost always the instigators. I guess I have 2 thoughts about that. First I want to see maybe girls be the ones that do the stupid dirty things sometimes, if for no other reason, then for the sake of variety, but also I think it would just soothe my pained soul to know that maybe there's some girls out there that have the occasional dirty thought (I mean don't get me wrong, of course I know its true, but its the sort of thing where you could with enough effort convince me it was false cause its kinda like believing in santa claus). Also I think its just a more wholesome depiction of girls (maybe wholesome is not the right word). What I mean is maybe if you are a girl you are capable of having emotions other than embarrassment in this situation, it might be nice to see those other emotions sometimes (I'm not even saying I want to see a horny reaction, literally anything other than embarassment will do lol. Especially in stone ocean where Jolyne was caught masturbating and she was super embarrassed about that, like yes, its embarrasing, but when you are a baddie like Jolyne that sort of thing shouldn't affect you that much, Jolyne doesn't get embarrrased, she makes the person watching embarrased because he gott a boner watching :) ). So Yeah, like you said, girls will be boys I guess (I hope not literally though XD). My other thought is, "girls will be girls" applies just as much, even though nobody ever says that. It would actually be nice to have some "girls will be girls moments" where a girl is just doing some girl things and someone catches them and says "sigh, girls will be girls \_(oo)_/". I don't mean that as a bad thing, but sort of like just recognizing some common behaviours that we obviously do as a species and having a little laugh. Like obviously there aree some universal human truths, once a boy reaches puberty he is going to be masturbating at every oppurtunity, he's going to be awkward and embarrassed around girls, if you (boy or girl) see a big dog you MUST go pet it etc. Idk what are some of these "girls will be girls behaviours" but it would be nice to see some, like idk, if there is an empty table you must put a flowerpot on it or you will die, or something like that XD |

| I think "boys will be boys" is kind of a meaningless tautology. There's no one singular way that boys act, after all. I think using your gender as an excuse to act up is dumb. You didn't do it because you're a boy (or a girl, or whatever), you did it because of who you are as an individual. |

| It's just a weird way of saying something is amusing or even funny but a bit of a nuisance or just not understood to a female since females are generally expected to be more reserved and refined than what is expected of males. I dont think it necessarily means someone actually takes it to heart on some deeper implication it is more like just a display of how things are societally in some regards.
