I’m actually hoping it’s not 2 cours cause I don’t want a MHA situation (would probably be even worse since 8bit is significantly less stacked and talented than Bones) were the anime gets fucked by having a movie in production at the same time (though Season 1’s quality was already not good so idk how much lower they can go)

Man this is great news. Me and my sister absolutely love Blue Lock to the point where we would keep shouting out “I’M A STRIKER!!!!” and dumb shit like that.

The first season was great, but there were times the animation did falter slightly but I’m hoping this arc is done right. As someone who converted to the manga, all I can say is that it gets even better from this point onwards; can’t wait to see this in action.

Knowing 8bit, my guess is a split cour treatment for season 2. So part 2 will air in Spring or Summer.

that would suck so hard.. than we would only have the third selection and that arc is 21 chapters long so i think we the u20 match it will be 61 that would be a perfect length for a complete season

@_Mentalist 8-bit directly invests into the anime as part of the committee, and Bandai officially acquired then in April... So yeah, no reason for a change now.
