| That's actually surprisingly true. My theory is that it's maybe because japan likes conformity and by making the main love interest black haired (which is the most common hair color in japan) it feeds into the relatability and love of the Japanese audience for a self insert towards the character as opposed to a foreign blond haired character.  |

| I have noticed that both blond boys and girls always win in love-triangle/harem situations and they usually have a shit personality and tend to be more popular among the fans because they are usually considered prettier. Never noticed the height thing though. |
