Anyone else feel the same way?

Yes, I know this will probably end in Loid and Yor together but I just love girls in manga who are direct in their love for someone and seeing as how Fiona is blatantly in love with Loid I started rooting for her immediately.

I didn't mind the Loid and Yor romance but since neither of the two are clearly in love with each other, I wasn't as onboard with their romance as I am with Fiona's. There's some potential character development here for Loid too. Maybe if Fiona is honest with her feelings for him, Loid might start developing feelings of his own for Fiona. I mean, it's not like he has explicitly said that he loves Yor.

And yes, I know in manga it's usually the first woman that ends up with the MC but this is a fine way to subvert that trope. Maybe throw the readers a curveball and have Loid reciprocate his feelings for Nightfall.

Yeah, but Yor is the current seasonal goods girl, so you will make a lot of hairy palms angry if you say something like this, you should have waited till the show ends and we move on to another object girl of the season.

I do understand your point of view. I have seen a lot of discussions on Disquis about this too. I dunno how the author would go on with the story with the introduction of Fiona/Nightfall, but I doubt that Loid will fall for her.
Mainly because he gets on well with Yor and she has been there all this time. I respect Fiona's honesty despite it not being recognised but I don't think that approach would go on.

Anya doesn't even want anything to do with Fiona. Taking care of Anya would be another problem to overcome but hey, Yor is doing a great job already.

Plus Loid and romance is a whole different story too. Lmao! Yor's brother can have Fiona (despite their opposing views), I don't mind, Lol!

Can people who ship Twilight and Nightfall stop and think about the third party in this by that I mean Anya I mean it's already clear what kinda parent Nightfall would be and it's not good.

I feel the same. I'm also a sucker for the side heroine or heroine in general who has a hard crush on the male.
Unfortunately I doubt she'll ever have a real chance, nor will it ever be tested legitimately assuming there'd be no way for Loid and Yor to seperate and for Loid to choose Fiona for a moment in a dramatic seperation arc.
In this type of feel of this story, with its setup of this trio fake family being so essential to the main plot, Fiona as a plot replacement for Loid as the new wife, be it for a short arc or to become the full replacement in the end would be crazy.

Having read all of Endou Tatsuya's translated works, he's never shown that kind of twist plot.
It's rare regardless, and would be extremely implausible on this type of story.

... I do respect her passionate love. I adore it, and I hope she does reveal her romantic feelings and goes on a date with him at least whenever that happens.
If not, I'm sure and look forward to her moments of loving and protecting him which I think he'll notice. I can't imagine this story ending without her or Anya revealing- or him ever realizing her feelings.

Loid and Nightfall met each other first, but he only saw her as a colleague. It's different with Yor.

Although Yor and Loid may not be on the same side, what they have in common is their kindness, their desire to stop the war. Nightfall is a workaholic and she's motivated to complete her missions. In one of the chapters, Yor figured that she wanted to continue being an assassin to ensure that peace continues. We've also seen how she didn't hesitate to chase after the guy that snatched the old lady's purse.

Yor breaks down Loid's defences. She's mysterious (startled him the first time they met, proposed first), rejected him at the pub (when he wanted to set the honey trap)...etc.

The manga has been written in such a way that Yor is the one for Loid. He can't help falling in love with her, and he keeps reminding himself that it's all part of his mission.

Yuri and fiona form a temporary alliance to dismantle loid and your or something like that and fall in love in the process...???💀

I'm a no on Twilight x Nightfall because Nightfall does not provide anything he needs. She's too similar to him, and he's already so good at his job he really doesn't need a copy of himself to help him. Yor supports and appreciates him and makes up for his shortcomings (like helping him with Anya, encouraging him to rest or have fun when he pushes himself too hard, complimenting his cooking etc). He in turn appreciates that she brings different strengths (literally) to the table and helps him even when she doesn't know she's doing it.

What also makes Yor more endearing than Nightfall is that she is just a kind and caring person (outside of her assassin gigs anyways). I just finished book 6, and their attitudes toward Twilight are very sharply contrasted - when confronted with the prospect of losing Twilight to a rival, Nightfall thinks "only I can be the perfect partner and make him happy," whereas Yor wants Twilight to be happy even if it's without her and even if it means she'll have to give up her own comfort and safety. I know that I also feel this way because it's the author's intention and the story is written to be that way, but that's why I think Yor x Twilight makes far more sense than Nightfall x Twilight.

I don't ship Nightfall x Twilight, I don't feel anything for them, it's just when I think about the situation, Fiona would be a better fit. Therefore, I prefer Nightfall x Twilight. She would be able to help him with so many things, tbh.

People say Fiona is toxic, blahblah, how is she toxic? LOL. People don't even understand what "toxic" means. Toxic is when your actions have detrimental effects on the person you're with. Fiona's feelings are not negatively affecting Twilight because Loid doesn't know about her feelings. He actually enjoyed working with her, as evidenced at the conclusion of the tennis arc. People say oh she tried to sabotage Strix - lol. She didn't even do anything in the end. The writing was meant as a setup to introduce her as a rival to Yor. So many Yor fans are taking everything Fiona does seriously but Yor's glaring faults are completely swept under the rug.

There's no way he can reject Fiona unless he knows about her feelings. At this point in time, judging by his reactions, he actually believes Fiona hates him.

Honestly, this is something fans cannot see because of their shipping goggles: Yor gives Loid stress. He has to work on top of doing the house chores and when I think about women who does EVERYTHING IRL with their male partner being so incompetent and incapable, it reminds me of Yor and Loid, just with reversed gender roles. Yor has no common sense, and when Anya grows older, I don't know what kind of advice she would end up giving the child about life. Also, something about Yor just bothers me. She's so sweet and kind on the surface but inside she enjoys killing people. Her eyes light up at killing weapons.

Also. It bothers me a whole lot that Yor is already so strong, yet she still uses a range of poison for her assassinations. In her own words, "poison that could kill elephants". It's cruel and it's an overkill. Poisons, conventionally, are used by those who are weaker by their targets and had no choice but use such means. The old saying goes, "poison is the coward's weapon". Yor is stronger than everyone in the cast. She has NO problems with kicking a car and fighting child kidnappers. And she still uses poison on top of brute strength?

Her character just bothers me on so many levels. I would rather someone like Fiona who hides her vulnerable self and shows her antogonistic self for all to see, rather than someone like Yor who hides her psychopathic self and shows off her kind and sweet self for others.
