'Kaizoku Oujo' Reveals Additional Cast Members

The official website of the Kaizoku Oujo (Fena: Pirate Princess) original anime series revealed on Friday eight additional cast members and a second character promotional video. The anime began airing on August 14 on Crunchyroll and Adult Swim's Toonami programming block. Japanese broadcast begins in October on Tokyo MX, MBS, and BS Asahi.

Grace O'Malley: Rica Fukami (Banana Fish)
Ching Shih: Ai Kaneta
Charlotte Barry: Marina Yabuuchi (Assassins Pride)
Mary Read: Ayaka Nanase (Black Fox)
Hannah Snell: Hiyori Kouno (Death March kara Hajimaru Isekai Kyousoukyoku)
Artemisia: Kaoru Marimura (Kindaichi Shounen no Jikenbo Returns)
Anne Bonny: Saiko Moriya (Shingeki no Kyojin: The Final Season)
Alvida: Mari Hino (Flying Witch)

Kazuto Nakazawa (B: The Beginning) helms and pens the original anime at Production I.G. Rie Nishimura (Kakegurui chief animation director) and Yasuko Takahashi (Yakusoku no Neverland animation director) are designing the characters, and Yuki Kajiura (Vanitas no Karte) is composing the music.

As for an ambitious show with expensive graphics, this anime has suspiciously little hype.

I suppose that's due to the fact that it's an anime original, but also the airing which started mid-season when everyone's already settled with the shows they picked at the start of the season.

Its like with games. Why would you play a souls-like game, when you can just play a souls game instead.

Well, in the 00s, this anime would be an undeniable hit. I don't know how now, though.

Well, I'm not pretending to be true, as I have not followed much of the shows in development lately, but before the start of the season, I literally heard about this show only 2 or 3 times.
