How old is Violet when Ann's granddaughter visits the island Gilbert lives on? The only thing I could think of that could serve as a hint to her age is the radio tower, but they never tell us how long it took to complete.

We can assume that at least 70 years have passed, considering Ann is dead (i don't think her age was stated so I think 80+ is a fair estimate). So, assuming she hasn't already died, violet is at least 84.

I guess his age is probably around 16-17 because there was a episode
in violet Evergarden series when someone ask her "what is your age" then violet reply " I don't know my real age but I am around 14-16"

Btw I haven't watched this movie I just watched violet Evergarden series and 1 movie 😅

Well let's see. She's roughly 14-16 when visiting Ann who is maybe 8-10? Assuming she married young and had her baby at 16-18, Violet would be 22-24 at that point. Let's also assume Ann's daughter married young and had her baby at 16-18 which would make Violet 38-42. The granddaughter appears to be in her late teens to early 20s so at the very youngest, Violet is 56-64 but I think she would be closer to 70 realistically as the parents look older than their 30s.

now she's like 18-20yrs in the final movie .. watch it , the ending is great >.<

Uhh?! If you really watched the tv series, there's already an explanation about why she has such good combat skills. lol?! 😅

You're more likely comparing it in real life with those comments. 😅

It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines
and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it,
is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service.

She says she doesn't know her age but she has been told she is around 14 in one of the episodes. I haven't watched the anime but we can assume years have passed, but she is around 14

She's good at combat because she was used as a tool in the military

I have read some reddit threads concerning her age, based on the original light novel and the anime. At the story start when she started working as an automemories doll, she was around 14-15. Then several years passed and she's on 17 years as the movie started (when she honorarily wrote the sea ceremony poem by the port).

Violet already died at that point,there is a hint for that,the red bow she used to tie her hair it was tied to the branches of a tree in the last sequences,this was done to show us that Violet passed away.
